I want to be saved but i have so many questions first
I have so many questions for this community i orignially posted this somewhere else before i realized there was an intro thread. So here it is and some...
I stumbled upon this while in my class at school, so being the inquisitive person I've been raised to be, I came up with some question i would like to ask you. If i word some of these in a way that offends you I am deeply sorry for i only seek answers.
I myself am a nigra but i don't fit in with any of the descriptions i have seen. Ive grown up in a Upper class family. My mother being a hard working business woman always made sure we never had to live in disgusting "ghettos" anywhere near "unfavorables" as she called them. However going to a public school i had the unfortunate luck to be around some of them and when i would offer them my good will they would call me rude names such as "wonder bread" or "oreo" claiming i was "too white" for them. How does one become a true christian? I have deeply desired to have closer relationship with god but when i would attend church with my family the nigras you have talked about in previous posts would also attend and i would feel less inclined to attend. Is the true christian community and accepting community for one seeking to cleanse themselves of all prior sin and start anew? I have a sister who also feels that same way but was diagnosed as bipolar when she was young and later had the term lifted when re-evaluated. Would there be prejudice or hate placed upon her? I do have a single piercing, even though i do despise piercings, that holds extreme sentimental value to me and do no wish to part with. What is the communities view on that? I am hoping that someone can answer my questions and help me along the road to being saved and welcomed by gods grace.
