Ha ha! Would you eat a raw broccoli?

I didn't notice but now that I look, it's apparent!

Why are you here? Just out of interest

You might just be in luck. See, the Anglicans- just like the Catholics and Lutherans- are cults created by Satan to lure you away from the true gospel! The holy spirit must have guided your chubby little atheist fingers as you typed in the web address. What would you like to know about Jesus, friend?
I'll answer your questions in order I did believe I was going to heaven, well, such as the bleating sheep that the Church of England is now, the best we could believe in was 'hopefully' lol. As for the communion, no, I didn't believe that, I knew it was grape juice and a wafer, and as for the secret password....I have never heard of that!

Well, my curiosity is not with Jesus but with you, what is it you believe? There has already been a helpful post on this that I will look into but, I'm curious, those questions you asked me, do you believe any of that?

    Thanks for that!

Would you tell us what church failed you as a child, what Bible verse frightens you the most, and how you came to reject the perfect and conditional love of the Redeemer of Mankind?
That is a LOOOONG story! If you must know what church I was in the Church of England, I went to St Peters Church in Bolton. I'm not sure if I consider them failing me though, they were teaching me what they thought was right. My disbelief took a few years to come about, and will require more than the space in this post to describe!

Well thanks for replying, first, you needn't worry, I am not here for a laugh at your expense, I really am just curious. I am really quite familiar with the bible. I used to be a Christian but lost my faith a few years ago, but I was raised in the Church of England, which is rather different from the baptists churches of America, hence my curiosity.

Truth is, I wasn't really expecting a warm welcome, I came to talk to you guys directly, first hand, rather than read about you in some publication. Just so I don't go judging you before actually talking to you

    1. I'm curious about your version of Christianity
    2. I enjoy talking to people with contrasting viewpoints
    3. I'm not here to poke fun, argue or tell you you're wrong or try and 'convert' you.

Feel free to ask me anything, I'll be honest and open.
    Welcome to God's favourite forum!

It is obvious that Jesus has brought you here for a reason: atheist are terrible people EVIDENCE so you must be here because you are crying out for Jesus to Save(tm) you.

Tell us about your sins and a Pastor will be able to advise you on Salvation(r).

    1. You didn't have to bother us with your unwelcome presence to satisfy your curiosity. Just open a Bible for once in your life.

    2. We don't enjoy that. That's why we're on a Christian forum. To talk to other Christians. Unsaved? Unwelcome.

    3. Then why are you here? To have a good laugh at our expense? You're in danger of hellfire, friend, and the sooner you recognize that, the better.

Now for my question: Why would a brazen atheist come to a Christian website, without so much as pretending to hide their spiritual malaise, and expect a warm welcome? If you tried to introduce me to your new bride and I said "Sorry, I don't think she really exists!" would you invite me over for dinner?
