    Re: Hello from Cleveland!

Hello, and welcome to our friendly forums! I hope we can be friends. Any friend of is a friend of mine! Tell us, are you a friend of Jesus? I ask only because a true friend of His would know the value of civilized behavior, and certainly be able to read the introduction directions.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Well, if that is what you're into, it's no skin off my back.

However: We are here to glorify God, not promote the removal and framing of Uncle Chester's Navy tatt. If glorifying God is what you are here for, then welcome! Tell us more about your faith.

I've heard of Tattoo Preservation. Don't they frame up the tattoo and send it to the families? I never quite looked too much into it.
It's kind of an unusual, but interesting hobby.

The only tattoo preservation I have heard of was skin made into lamp shades at Auschwitz, They were quite popular, I understand.

Greetings Mr. Z. I am new here also. I am a student here in Babylon on scholarship to become a lawyer. I have several tattoos myself. I have never known anyone who cut tattoos out of dead people before. Are you a witch? If so you will anger these white people. You are probably white too because Black women don't lift weights but these white people don't seem to like most other white people. I know they don't like a witch.

                  Mr. Man,

While I have always considered your religion one of the false ones, I have, however, in an unbiased manner approved the Rastafari practice of treating the body as a temple. Admittedly, this causes overkill by refusing to cut your hair (which is not living tissue; 1 Corinthians 11:14“Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?”) but also occasional adherence to the real Bible. I am of course referring to decoration of the skin. I was under the impression that you disapproved of tattoos.

No sharp implements to be used to damage Man, for example no trimming or shaving, no tattooing of the skin or cutting of the flesh.
As foretold in Leviticus 21:5: "They shall not make baldness upon their heads, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh."
When did this doctrine change and tattoos became acceptable? Obviously, this is a minor detail regarding your actual Salvation but it may be crucial for your ambitions to become a respected leader of your cult in Africa.

                  Yours in Christ,

                  Elmer

                    Re: Hello from Cleveland!

When I was very young early in my years at the Methodist school I got several tattoos. I was not a Rasta in those days. I was a rascal. I grew dreads and I smoked the ganja and I said I was a Rasta but I was not. There are more Rascals in Jamaica than there are Rastas. They say they are Rastas but they are really gangsters. And they sell the drugs. Dudus used to be in charge of the whole garrison and all the Rascals but the white man got him and now he is in a dungeon in Babylon.

I myself was saved by the power of Jah. I heard of the Prophecies of His Excellency the Honorable Marcus Garvey and how they came true when HIM Ras Tafari rose to the throne of Abyssinia. I gave myself over to Jah and now I and I mon Rastafari.
