Greetings my friend. I am afraid that the actions of white people are difficult to anticipate and often baffling. I do not know why you are pink now but it can not be good. You are correct that pink is the color of homosexuals. Maybe they think you are a homosexual or maybe they do not think you are a homosexual but they want to insult you anyway. Or it could mean something else altogether.
