Welcome Susan! How nice to "meet" you! Do you have children? Do you homeschool them? I find some curricula are very popular, but in my opinion, nothing can compete with the Holy Bible as the One and Only educational source for a young American who will one day be responsible for running the country. Maybe a math book, but only if it's dedicated to teaching about Jesus.

It would be well advised for you to refer to Proverbs 9:13, where we find that, "A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing". Let that part of God's word guide you in your relations with all men.

Another small concern of mine is the fact that you are from Idaho. Everyone I have ever met from Idaho was a Morman. They are said to be thick in Idaho.

I pray that you are, in fact, a Christian seeking fellowship; that you are a seeker of fellow Christians, adrift in the Morman wilderness and menaced by them on all sides.
