...Are you referring to the one true God as "Jah"? Surely, if you are any kind of Christian, you would know that His name is God- not whatever Arabic-tainted name you are referring to Him by. Or perhaps this "Jah" you refer to is some pagan "god" that does not permit the acceptance of God's gifts to His true followers.

"Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain." -Exodus 20:7

Ah, but that doesn't specify what His name is. Exodus 34:14 (one of my all-time favourites) does:

Exodus 34:14 "For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:"

Note the capital J, thanks.

Mr. Abbott when God who is named Jah says meat he is talking about things we eat of all sorts but not a hamburger patty.

In Genesis we see throughout the book that the meat Jah refers to is not the flesh of animals. Try Genesis 1:29 and Genesis 1:30 for more information. Also in Romans 14:21 the Lord Jah says we are not to eat of flesh or drink of wine. Rastafari also do not drink for that reason. Finally we should look at Romans 14:17 where we see that is not the food of the body but the food of the spirit that is the Kingdom of Jah.

If you will look below at my favorite Bible verse you will see the verse where God tells us his name.

I am a Black man but I am well educated in the ways of the white people at the Methodist School in Tivoli Gardens. I am Rastafari so I am well acquainted with the word of Jah both in the Holy Bible and the Holy Piby.

Thank you, Roland and Mr. Moss, for your vigilant and Godly defense of the LORD's intentions for us to eat meat, and defense of the world against the evil intentions that Didymus Much and I Man Rastafari apparently wish upon it!

I wish these people wouldn't take the Word of God out of context- during the Days of Creation, God made plants and trees first for us to eat from- and then gave us the GIFT of meat (via livestock)- see Genesis 9:1-5, where God blesses Noah and his family- pay special attention to Genesis 9:3!!!


By not accepting His gift, Mr. Rastafari has rejected a gift from God himself! To do so is to reject His Will for us here on Earth and to doubt in His Ways!


The attitude of some of these people (who I assume are the scum of this website- i.e. gays, lezbeans, democrats, negroes, the hispanics- the list of God-haters goes on and on) towards the one true God and His Son Jesus Christ truly surprises me- I would have thought that those taking advantage of His gifts would at least respect Him!
