My name is Christopher Wayne Burnham. I went to the First Bapatist Church in Cordele Georgia. I have found the good Lord and Christ several times in my life. The first time was during desert storm. I prayed for my father's safe return and the Lord delivered. In the 9-11 attack my older brother was I'm the towers and he was one of the few survivors. I am thankful for his survival. When I was in Iraq fighting for the freedom of those in the U.S. I prayed for my return home everyday and night. To this day I pray for the families of my fallen comrades. The one thing I know for sure is that my fallen comrades are now serving the Lord in his army. My favorite bible verse is Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and salvation- whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life- of whom I shall be afraid?

How wonderful you thought to pray for the LORD to spare your life, but I wonder why you didn't think to pray for your friends to be spared, too. Anyway, welcome to our friendly forums! How many children has your wife blessed you with? Is she a good keeper of the home? Are your children well disciplined? I did pray for them at first but many of my comrades asked me not to because they felt they should ask the Lord himself to save instead of another. So I honored a d respected their request and m4mjust prayed for myself. My wife has blessed me with a pair of twins. A beautiful boy and girl. Their names are John and Jessica. I haven't seen them in a while because I have been deployed yet again. I missed the day of their birth and first 4 birthdays. Because I was in iraq. They are now 7 years old and if I know my wife she is raising them to follow the word of the lord.Comment
