    Salutations!

Greeting fellow humans, Everyone calls me Tator. I am a member of a small non-denominational Church, and am very involved with helping in children's Church and the Church's drama club. My favorite Bible verse is: Galatians 3:28

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: For ye are All one in Christ Jesus.

I came to find Jesus after my friend tried to commit suicide, but I had always been taught the way of the lord.

Welcome, Tater! Did you get that nickname because you like potatoes?

      What good is that?

...My favorite Bible verse is: Galatians 3:28...
Why don't you explain what that means to you? It is one of the more commonly misconstrued verses in the Bible, after all.

...I had always been taught the way of the Lord.
You sure about that? Have you even read the Bible, to make sure you're doing it right?

Welcome, Tator. Your introduction is a mite sparse. Can you tell us a little about yourself?

        God Bless!

Yet another example of Lord's Word clearly and concisely communication with someone with the correct Christian discernment to understand His message to you and you alone by causing someone close to you to be so depressed they tried to kill themselves.

Heartless atheotards may mock and call it coincidence but when someone is so low that they want to die it can only be Jesus affecting their life so drastically so as to let you know He is there for you.

No doubt you friend deserved his brush with death and his entire purpose in this fallen world was to act as a conduit for Jesus to enter and come inside you.

John 16:13 - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

            Re: Salutations!

Tator is an unusual name, but one I have some familiarity with. I did take some schooling in Switzerland with Kim Il Jong. When we hit the nightclubs on the weekend, I would always introduce him to the flesh as "Dick". The occasional person would ask his last name, and I always said "Tator". Sometimes that got a laugh while we were scoffing cocktails, or as Kim would say, as he leaned towards one of the scantily clad hostesses, "Cock Tales"

Still, I digress somewhat. Both Kim and I have taken different paths. I'm glad that I am now in the Landover Christian fellowship. I must admit I was surprised to learn when I joined this community that Pastor Zeke had reached out to my old nightclub chum. Its very likely that Zeke could bring an entire nation (or at least the northern part of it) into Christ's fold.

God willing, it would be grand to catch up with my old friend Kim on these very forums.

PS: Sorry about your suicidal friend. A bit of a failure if he/she tried and didn't succeed. May seem a bit harsh, but in some countries, you can be sentenced to death for trying to commit suicide. Best do it on your own terms

58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; 59 Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. 61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bringk upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
