I came here hoping for some answers. Instead I get belittled for making typo errors (handmaiden), chastised for asking question that LBC can't answer and feel hatred from "Christians".
After reading several threads I see I am not the only person that you are causing problems for.
You are the poster child for how not to be a Christian.
What I've learned is that this site is comprised of white gay hating racist snobs.
You have done more for me to realize that some Christians are truly the work of Satan.
I am really befuddled by what you stand for.

Based on my studies of this community, it stands for the exact same things as the Holy Bible does. They do not try to hide the ugly bits of the Bible, they follow all of it.


And when you think of it, that's not so different from what Christians have been doing for the last two thousand years. Just look up the history of genocides and think how many of them were done in the name of the Christian religion.


If God exists, He must really enjoy all that genocide.

No one chastised you, and your questions were repeatedly answered. We note that you have yet to address the answers, instead starting a new thread to distract from the old.

If the poster child for how not to be a Christian is one who follows the Holy Bible, then to what source, pray tell, do you think a Christian ought to refer?

You are befuddled, and yet refuse to engage in any critical thinking about the matter. I suspect you would rather identify yourself as some kind of emotional victim, thus giving you the appearance of being important in some way, rather than pursuing the questions and concerns you really have. I am happy to be proven wrong.

One way to look at it is to realize that Landover Baptist has no answers. The Bible has answers. You can decide to avail yourself of those answers, or you can spend the rest of your life celebrating the questions.


And please don't begrudge me my love of all things good and correct vis a vis grammar and the like. I have so few indulgences.

We stand for what we have repeatedly asserted: Reading the Bible in its entirety and accepting that the only way to honor its claim to Divine Authority is to believe and obey every single instruction that it offers. Now, is that so very hard?


Also, based on some of your words I don't really feel the peace and the love coming from your direction. On the other hand, I have extended considerable compassion towards you. Ask anybody here, I am a sweetie pie . . . I just happen to love good grammar. (And internal logic.)
