    Hi I'm New

I have read over some of the responses to post and although I don't agree completely I believe this is an excellent recourse to get your mind focused in the right direction.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Welcome, Brentin! How wonderful that you have enjoyed your visit to God's Favorite Forum. Won't you tell us what church you attend, your favorite Bible verse, and how you discovered that the LORD JESUS was the answer to the sordid life of lustful sin that you lived prior to accepting His Salvation(R)?

        Well I don't attend regularly a church.

My favorite Bible Verse would be

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it
        1 Corinthians 10:13

In 2010 I found myself sitting in a local prison. Upset with my life and upset with the choices I made. And it got to the point where I could no longer sleep. I always remembered hearing my grandfather speak verses from Matthew 11:25-30 and the one he would point out often would be 29. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. It was a process before things started flowing but when I asked God to forgive me of these sins the emotional guilt just felt like they melted away. Sure I had to of course win back the trust of my family and friends but I knew it was gonna be much more easy knowing that I had a friend who loves me and his name is Jesus and without respect to what I was going through he through the Holy Spirit would give me direction and knowledge to know how to respond.

How good that you could not sleep when you were in prison. Horrible things are done by prison sodomites to the ones who fall sleep.

God is taking care of you.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

            Oh Praise Jesus!

I found that when I was Saved, the guilt of all the rude, offensive, hurtful thing's I'd done to others over the course of my lifetime no longer bothered me, either! It just... didn't matter any more. I didn't have to think about it! Out of sight, out of mind! And I felt ever so much better. Almost like it never existed. And to God, it doesn't (Isaiah 43:25)! "Melting away!" I love it!

Also, I found that while it may take some time to regain the trust of some people, those who will never trust you again aren't worth fussing over. They're just selfish and care only about their own hurt feelings, not that Jesus forgave you. They're going to Hell and so there's no reason to try and placate their irascible moods anyway (Matthew 7:6). Besides, you won't ever spend time with them anymore (2 Corinthians 6:14), so it won't matter.

              Re: Hi I'm New

Welcome, Brentin. I feel that you have likely submitted an honest introduction, though I am often mistaken. Your's is far different than those of the unsaved and worse who come among us to torment Christians. I believe that you are on the path to redemption, but have not yet arrived. Your disagreement over some of the responses by True Christians can only stem from your lack of understanding. I advise you to read God's Holy Word, which can be found exclusively in the King James Bible. The road to salvation is straight and narrow. It is not an easy path and temptations are many. Stay on that path, friend and you will enjoy ever lasting life with Jesus in Heaven.

              God Bless!

Have you read the entire KJV Bible? In prison, you would have time to, and to commit it to memory?

Maybe my post wasn't clear but I been out for quite a few years now. But yes I had time than to put quite a bit to memorization. I don't believe I can honestly say that I had ever read the entire KJV.

Greetings Brentin! I am very pleased to make your acquaintance. I am Trevor McGregor late of Kingston Jamaica. I have come here to Babylon to be educated and to provide diversity for your country but for now I have been caught up in the political struggle of Hillary Clinton and I am working diligently to assist her in her fight to be the president of America and bring justice to this cruel land. I perceive that you are a white man but you have been imprisoned in the dungeons which are usually reserved for Black men in Babylon. What deeds have you committed to be placed in the prisons of America?

These are Baptists who own this website but they allow anyone who is friendly and Christian to participate as long as they behave themselves. I have learned to behave in a manner acceptable to white people as a student at the Methodist School in Kingston and so these white people have come to love me. I am sure they will be accepting to you as well as long as you behave yourself as a dignified person.

Brentin, allow me to offer you a tentative welcome in the form of a decorous nod.

Remember to read your Bible and employ it in any appropriate circumstance-- meaning, all of them.

With the Bible in your life toolkit, you won't need any life hacks. Your problems will pretty much solve themselves.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.
