    Re: Question about Infractions

The verses you've listed refer to understanding that GOD exists and having a fear of the LORD. Nobody can expect to understand GOD Himself, or His mind, which is partitioned into three different beings.

Attempting to understand GOD's mind is what leads to unbelief. People waste their lives bickering about why the Bible is filled with what secularists call 'contradictions' (they're really not contradictions, they're just verses taken out of context) and 'logical fallacies.'

If they had any FAITH at all they would UNDERSTAND that GOD is always right, and until they ACCEPT that, they are always wrong.

JESUS Himself said that unless we have faith as little children, we will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. If that's the case, I intend to have the most childish mind I can!

What is being written here, is that if you hear the scriptures and believe them in your heart, if you are open to the words of those who know more of you in the faith, if you work at comprehension and strive to understand, then God shall grace with two things

      1. Understanding of the fear of the Lord
      2. The knowledge of God

I suppose you could intepret #2 that as general knowledge of God's existence, that set of knowledge that belongs to God, or, in my opinion, an insight into the true nature of God the Almighty Himself. God wants to be known by his followers, and we are commanded to spend out lives in praise and worhsip, and in the pursuit of knowledge of our Heavenly Father.

Only the weak loses faith in searching for God. If you are using the Bible properly to this end, you cannot be lead astray.

Not all "contradictions" are context or misquotations. Often, there are issues of misinterpretation at play. Considering within the Christian infield there is discord as to what version of what Bible holds what meaning, it's no surprise that the unsaved completely out in left field.

I hope you'll afford me the oppertunity to edit four small words here (any at all" and "always". In this you speak pure truth brother.

God commands us to seek out wisdom. The mind of a child's has strength from enthusiasm and the desire to learn and experience the world God has created for them. In this regard, perhaps we all have alot we could learn.

Refuting unsaved trash with scripture is great, but usually their hearts are hardened against God and His Word so they continue their persecution of us unabated. Because of this, the infraction system is as necessary as the prison system. God willing, it will one day be as profitable too.
