Why don't you help yourself by reading the Holy Bible? It's really not that long

i think we have diffrent views on what "Not That Long" emplies, when i read that i expected "oh on so it's like 20, mabey 25 chapters, but nooooo its quite literally double that, so ya im gonna have to read this thing in parts, over an extended period of time, but hey feel good about yourself, you got someone to read the bible

well Youtube is a renowned source of content and that's not an opinion that's a sheer FACT. around the globe it's used to post video logs, tutorials, music, animations, documentaries, dang i bet i could even find a narration of you're bible on Youtube! and for anything that has (the literally definition found in a dictionary) porn or sexually explicit material is banned. only time anything sexual can be posted is for educational proposes, or documentation of the sort. so granted it's not direct in the face of god and kneeling down to it, it doesn't go against him either. so i think a quick investigation on what video is on the other end of the link would be in line. if it is TRULY against and attacking the bible then by all means take it down. but if it's something as innocent as a song on a thread about that type of genre then removing the link dose nothing. just leaves one other dazed and confused.


again look at me rant, i tend to be good at that eh? yikes i should write a book.


also fine. I'll read the bible but it'll be on my own time. I'm a really busy person with school and my real life flailing around me


also if i could ask a favor. for my name to be fixed to what it really is. being Clayton, and not Clay for Brains. would be very nice. it's my name and i would like to wear it proudly.

i think its also worth mentioning what my goals on this site point towards, and that's unity. of different things and a more optimistic mindset. not judging before actually trying it out.

i want my views to be heard and respected and if nothing else considered.

That's very sweet of you, however, the problem is that we do not care about your opinions, especially if they derive from logical thinking and such:

1 Corinthians 1:17-20
17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

when i attempted to offer my help with the Rocket League accusation i was completely undermined and my word seemed to stand below the word of the original post. it baffled me, i was called a pervert and everything, when all i attempted to do was offer my assistance so this man could gain a better understanding of what the game actually was.

If you defended your position with appropriate Bible quotes, instead of your own opinions, you would be heard. Otherwise, your efforts are pointless.

again i don't plan on following the christian religion, but that dosen't mean i don't want it to fail and crumble in on itself. making it look better, giving a polish and a quick spit-shine is in due order.

Why don't you help yourself by reading the Holy Bible? It's really not that long and (for the most part) not too boring. There are plenty of awesome God-approved genocides which should make the read more interesting.

with a clear head as i write i would like to properly introduce myself, and where i would like to stand in this site.

My name is Clayton, i spend most of my time playing games and (when I'm not hot headed) trying to make people smile and laugh. i dont read the bible and i have yet to go to church much at all in my life.


my reason why i stay is that I've seen a lot of assumptions and reviews on things that i like go off to say negitive things about them, often with very little data. one of the reviews i saw accused a game i play called Rocket League of Rapeware, Gayness and attacking Jesus, going of NOTHING else other than the cover. and me knowing the game inside and out (much like you know you're bible inside and out) was compelled to correct him.


if i had never saw a bible or heard of the christian religion and saw the Bible and rejected it because the cross on the front looked to much like a TREE, i would assume you would be quick to defend it no? to correct that false assumption?


to quote myself, "Nobody knows Everything about Everything." you have pelted with me with verse after verse from the bible, showing me that you can find the proper scripture in an instant, is it really that hard to beleive that someone, granted not follow the bible, will know more about something than that of someone who dose follow the bible? is it really that hard to believe?

also an apology.. by me. i can get fairly angered and such and after writing that last one i can read the tone of my words and i would like to apologize for that. i was suck in a tantrum for a time and my actions outpaced my mind. so an apology is in due order and that is it.

To mary, i am sorry. i have been rude and i see now that my mindset was fairly fast paced and... well needless to say rash and not very well thought through. it has been bent on a form of payback or revenge i might say. the reason behind that. and i mean no ill will but it is true, where the childish reasons behind the infractures. not the infractures themselves but the resons, like the direct insult, some even just beeing Yappity Yap Yap yap. for a reason? excuse me? its been fuel for a fire in the back of my head and I've found a pail of water to extinguish this little inferno.

Let me be clear. I don't care if people convert to Christianity or not. My Salvation is secure. I am compelled to share the Gospel (Luke 14:23), and so I do. I don't care if they accept the Good News or not. Not everyone will (Luke 8:4-21). In fact, Jesus tells us most won't (Matthew 22:14). I do my job, and move on. I don't need to get emotionally invested in people who are adamant about going to Hell. Jesus even tells us not to waste our time and efforts (Matthew 7:6). So you can think whatever you want about ME, but that doesn't change the fact that regardless of what you think, if you fail to believe in Jesus' virgin birth (Matthew 1:18), temporary death (1 Corinthians 15:4), and miraculous space travel (Acts 1:9 ), and subsequently dedicate your life to loving and serving Him (John 14:15; 23), your name will never be recorded in the Book of Life (Revelation 20:15), and you will suffer excruciating pain for ever and ever and ever.
