    Greetings

Greetings there, I'm currently undergoing a spiritual journey to find the one true faith that truly is the right path to follow. Through extensive research I found this site and believe that hopefully someone here can teach me a little more about your faith through personal experiences rather than the usually biased and agenda pushing format of the media. I looked forward to learning about baptism from honest to god baptists

    Re: Greetings

Hello ScotJim, and welcome to our friendly forums! If you're looking for personal testimony, you've come to the right place! Why, just this very morning I had a deep, intense, powerful conversation with Jesus! Glory! After I was reminded, simply by His Perfection, how lowly and insignificant I am, I was overcome with humility. Shaking and quivering, I dropped to my knees as the tears streamed down my face. I could no longer keep it inside, confessing the many horrible things about me that separate me from Perfection. I am self-centered, I don't love and serve my husband as if he were Christ Himself, which of course I should, and I would if it weren't for this insidious pride that is rooted deep inside my flesh, pride that would have me shout from the rooftops that I am an individual, I am important, my voice counts, my feelings matter, my will is mine to control, my my my! Do you see all the pride! Oh and He showed me just how much my pride hurts Him because it takes the focus off Him, an He is the LIGHT! Why would anyone purposefully seek the darkness except that she is addicted to the dark recesses of her heart? She is seeking pity, because she is not familiar with what LOVE really is! But do I want to be that person? NO! I don't! And I rebuked the Devil who put those horrible, devious thoughts in my head! And as I rebuked him, I praised Jesus all the more! And I got up off my knees and I started to pray loudly, with arms raised high, and I prayed and wept and sang and jumped because I COULD NOT CONTAIN MY ENERGY ANY MORE! But then the children finally grabbed me and pulled me out of the Starbucks, the younger ones looked a bit frightened, the older ones looked resigned, but I don't care. JESUS IS EVERYWHERE! PRAISE JESUS! JESUS ALONE IS THE LORD! HE IS THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA! I LOVE YOU JESUS! I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU!!!!
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Hi Scot Jim. I hope you are brought here by Jesus with the best intentions. I hope you are not an atheist in disguise that is here to troll us. And I certainly hope that you support the Godly mission of building a wall in the border to separate the USA from the filthy hispanics.

To learn about our faith, I can recommend you to start reading the KJV Bible. It is available online.

Where do I start?: From the beggining

Is it too long! How much time is going to take me: if you start whining is going to take you longer. Here is a thread to read the Bible in a year

Do I have to read the Old Testament?: Yes. All of it.

            NO.

            Again: NO.

2 Timothy Chapter 3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Matthew 4:4 - But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Joshua 1:8 - This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Of course, you can read in this forum, there are lots of threads about many aspects of the execution of God's word on Earth. Landover to the Rescue is a good forum to start.

Speaking about the wall, do you happen to have a job? Don't you want to come to help building it? We need help. January 20th is around the corner and Donald will want results inmediatly.

            Thanks.

Thank you again Brother Gonzalez. I will take all of that on board. In regards to your question about helping to build the wall, I am living in the United Kingdom so I would hate to trespass in your holy land and dilute the noble cause your wall represents with my foreign presence. I would wish you luck but considering your past achievements including the ark, I don't think I need to

Well I wouldn't know, as it's not my place to instruct my boys beyond puberty. Scripture tells me it's not my place to teach Scriptures to a man (1 Timothy 2:12). That responsibility falls on Mr. Etheldreda, and he has yet to consider it my business. I will say that I understand the responsibility for men to be greater, for under the umbrella of their protection exists the security of the entire family (see below; 1 Corinthians 11:3, ). However, under this construct, they are naturally closer to Christ, so I imagine they've got a capable mentor. I fail to see how the demands of men could even compare to those of women. We have so much to make amends for, so much guilt to appease. One of the very first Christians, a disciple of the disciples themselves, once wrote,

                      Re: Greetings

Welcome, Jim. There have been but few Scots that have come among us and those have proved to be mostly barbarians. This is to be expected from the inhabitants of country where the men are dress wearing cattle thieves and stay drunk on strong whiskey most of the time. It is a pleasure to meet a Christian from among your benighted people.

I do not mean to falsely impugn your heritage, Jim. I confess that I bear the stain of Scottish ancestry myself, though they came to America long ago with all the rest of the few honest people in Scotland. I perceive that you are a Highlander, which would explain your Catholic upbringing. My mother's clan were Presbyterian Picts from the Hebrides. They threw off their Scot ways and came to America to find Jesus.

                      God Bless!
God judgeth the righteous, And God is angry with the wicked every day- Psalm 7:11

                        Dear Jim,

We are here to help you overcome your confusion. You see, Jesus sees absolutely no difference between Catholics and other Muslims. The whole essence of Christianity is to accept Jesus Christ as the only possible available imaginable way to the Joys of Heaven.

                        John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me.

This is what the Muslims, other Catholics, and several other false Christians have forgotten. They no longer think that redemption by Christ is necessary. In fact, the Catholic Catechism says that Muslims are on the front row when it comes to Salvation.
841 The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."
Catholics are Muslims; Muslims are Catholics, as both have made Jesus redundant. In fact, as Catholics still claim to be Christian, their path is an even more tortuous one than that of the other Muslims, as they would first have to accept their total disregard of Christ!

By dismissing Jesus they have simultaneously committed all imaginable sins including violent killings, fornication, unnatural relations with young youths, stealing, lying, and other abominations.

                        James 2:10

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

You've come to the right place. You still have hope thanks to us. We are your only guides to the narrow path to Salvation (Matthew 7:14)! Welcome! Praise Jesus!

                        Yours in Christ,

2 Kings 18:25 - Am I now come up without the LORD against this place to destroy it? The LORD said to me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.

Christianity isn't all "pie in the sky when you die." There are many blessings to be had here on earth. I would be happy to share with you something that Lord did in my life just last week.

I'm in the funeral business and things have been pretty quiet lately. I was starting to wonder how I was going to pay for this new car I believe God wants me to have. So I went to the mortuary to be alone and bring the matter before the Lord (Matthew 7:7-11). But even before I could get down on my knees before Jesus, my phone rang. Two Freehold residents, a mother and daughter, had been involved in a fatal car accident just outside town. Their head of household asked me to take care of the funeral.

I drove out to the scene and waited for emergency crew to retrieve their mangled, charred corpses from the wreckage and once I had loaded their remains into the transfer vehicle, I drove back to the funeral home rejoicing and thanking God for His bountiful provision.

There are two lessons I hope you can take from this story. First, God always knows what you need even before you ask Him.

Matthew 6:8 For your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

And second, God is always faithful to provide for our needs.

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

                            Elmer
So in essence, to truly be welcomed into the kingdom of heaven, I must trust and follow Jesus without question and obey the KJV to the letter?

That is truly fortunate my friend! If Jesus can provide such wonderous support from on high, why are so many in the world now trying to eradicate his name? It makes no sense :S surely you would want the world to share in this magnificent gift?!
