    Hello!

Hi there! People call me Matt and I have been a Christian for a long time and so I decided to join this site. I just need some recommendations for new churches because the old church I used to attend, Reflections Church, got taken over by Pentecostal Pirates because the elders of that church didn't care at all about the people who actually attended the church and so they picked a Pentecostal preacher named "Pastor" Robb Russo. The part that angers me most is the fact that the elders didn't even bother to find out that he was Pentecostal. What are your thoughts on this subject?

    Welcome, Matt!

As I have no thoughts or opinions of my own, I can only share with you how Jesus feels about Pentecostals!

It is pivotal that you refrain from any contact with that lot.

    2 Corinthians 6:14
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers : for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

You are so lucky to have found us. We are the Light of the World!

    Matthew 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Aren't those verses beautiful and magnificent? What are your favorites? How's begetting?

    Yours in Christ,

    Elmer

      My favorite verses are

      Lamentations chapter 1, verse 4
The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness.

      John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

      Job 19:36
For I know that my Redeemer lives,
And He shall stand at last on the earth.

        Dear Friend,

It is now obvious that you were in a false Church! They've made you read a false version of the Bible (could that be the ESV?!). Please, from now on, read the True Bible!

Furthermore, is your Bible missing some verses? Let us see how God's Word regarding Job 19:36 really goes!

[void; see Genesis 1:2 for definition]

Oh dear, there is no such verse? Did you mean:

        Job 19:25
For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

Oh I am sorry. I don't have my copy of the Bible on my person and I looked the verses to check my spelling and the site didn't say which version of the Bible it was. Very sorry.

              Hello Matt,

Welcome to the forum! You will find the Christians on this forum to be very knowledgeable about the Bible. Even I know some verses now, quite a feat and a testament to the enormous patience of the people here. I am sure they will help you find Jesus. I haven´t found Him yet, despite all the generous efforts from the people on this forum.

Just a quick question, something I´m curious about: What are your favourite foods and how do you think your dietary decisions make Jesus feel?

              Kind regards,

              Roland
Jeremiah 6:21 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.

Best wishes for the people in Ukraine.

Hello and welcome to our friendly forum! You can find an online Holy Bible, King James Version HERE. You can also read the Bible in a Year with Landover Baptist Church! It's great fun to discuss favorite passages and Jesus' work in our lives with other Believers!

Tell us how you came to find Jesus, and how you best enjoy sharing the Good News that He has already made arrangements to toss every last man, woman and child, right into the very depths of Hell should they refuse to believe (John 3:18)!
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Hi. Welcome to the forum. Anything I might say has already been covered by the others so here is a recipe:

                  Ingredients

                  2 cups rolled oats
                  1/2 cup sugar
                  1 cup plain flour
                  1/2 cup melted butter
                  1 tbls golden syrup
                  2 tbls boiling water
1 tsp bicarbonate soda (add a little more water if mixture is too dry)

                  Method

                  Combine dry ingredients.
Mix golden syprup, boiling water and bicarbonate of soda until they froth. Add melted butter.
Combine butter mixture and dry ingredients.
Drop teaspoons of mixture onto floured tray, allowing room for spreading.
                  Bake in a slow oven.

Oh my, that looks delicious! I'll have to try making these, maybe for a church bake sale or something.
