They say there's a flying spaghetti monster (FSM) somewhere who looks after them with beer. They obsess over pirates and fly pirate flags which look like this:

The flag on the right has a picture of the flying spaghetti monster "FSM" and a made-up word "Pastafarian" above, which is difficult to read. They call themselves pastafarians and although they are obviously insane, usually the ones posting here are polite.

What ?! Pastafarians ? Never heard about them. It sounds so unreal! I'd be genuinely curious to hear about their speech, as evil as it looks

Welcome! It's so nice to see someone posting a proper introduction. Pay no mind to the lawyer and his babble. He's wrong and we're right. If it's ok with your father, you should join the womenfolk and myself in Auntie Flo's Prayer Shack for Women. It's the perfect place to talk about pies and cooking.

Don't worry. Roland the Swede (as in the turnip like vegetable) will turn up soon enough and you will get to meet one first hand. Roland is very polite and abides by the rules, mostly.
