    Re: Is homeschooling enough?

I do not plan to send my precious children to some College, which is like paying more for the public school I took them out of.
NOTE: Despite similarities in likeness and name, I am NOT famous Evangelist speaker Jack Redmond. That is a DIFFERENT Jack Redmond.

      Sister Mitza,
I can always count on you to ask the burning questions. The LORD GOD has blessed you with the ability to ask fairly intelligent inquiries; not as intelligent as a man might ask, of course. The simple answer to this one is that firearms in and of themselves are not the problem. The problem would be the teacher. The man of the house should teach all homeschoolers in appropriate use of guns rather than the weaker gender for obvious reasons that I won't go into here. A True Christian(TM) American male would be sure to mention the dangers inherent in the use of commie firearms; he would be sure that users of foreign arms know to pray the demonic forces out of them in Jesus Name, pleading the Blood of Jesus over the weapon several times and anointing it with oil.
How thoughtful of you to chime in on this discussion and I look forward to your next inquiry with great eagerness.

Not understanding something is often an appropriate time to ask a question and when someone does .know they usually don't mind a brief explanation, even if they think I'm ignorant for.not .knowing. Unfortunately I seem to ask a lot of questions which brings me to a minor point you may be able to help with.

As you appreciate, I enjoy spinning and sewing clothes (they're not that good but I try to get a decent fit and pay attention to little details) so there are occasional gatherings where we compare fabrics and dyes, often outdoors. I was a little concerned how large a gathering would be acceptable in this context and what constraints would be proper in that situation? Occasionally there are garments which other Christians may care to examine indoors.
Acts 16:13-15 On the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither. And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul. And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.
