    Hello!

I am a member of Hope Baptist Church in Indianapolis. My favorite verse is Habakkuk 3:17-18

17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

These verses remind me to praise the Lord and be thankful no matter what is going on in my life - even when it seems that everything that could go wrong is!

I came to know the Lord Jesus just after I turned 18. I heard my pastor ask someone "how they knew they were saved" and I realized that I didn't know what I would have said if he had asked me. The next couple nights I couldn't sleep - had several dreams - waking up scared that I was going to hell. The following Sunday morning I practically ran to the altar during invitation and asked Jesus into my heart.

    Re: Hello!

Welcome! It's so nice to see someone following the instructions for once! I see fron your other post that you're a married female. How many Soldiers of Christ have you given birth to? Do you have your husband's permission to be here? I look forward to seeing more posts from you!
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

      Re: Hello!

Hello .. Welcome to Landover. Habakkuk is a great book reminding us just how important it is to have Christian leaders.
      HABAKKUK 1 . KJV . look up
      1
O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!
3 Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention.
4 Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.

When heathens or, even worse: catholics, are allowed to roam around wickedness surrounds and contaminates everything. Only Christians are protected. Government belongs to Jesus, as every Christian knows.
      ISAIAH 9 . KJV . look up
      6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Heathens don't know any better. Just look at the countries they come from! God is smiting them severely, as they launch frenzied attacks upon one another, blasting themselves with nerve gas, the list is endless. Nothing is wonderful, they have no Counsellor and so they deny The mighty God, reject The everlasting Father and repulse The Prince of Peace with extreme prejudice. Jesus will be returning any day now and the suffering cut short for us but for heathen swarms things will go downhill very rapidly indeed.
      HABAKKUK 3 . KJV . look up
      3
God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.
4 And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.
5 Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet.
6 He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.

Catholics are worse, they do actually have The Bible but substitute the crazy for God's explanation, even murdering people who dared to read The Bible over many centuries until that particular tribulation was cut short Praise Jesus! but even today they persist with the most blasphemous form of idolatry ever devised. Satan speaks through every pronouncement from their popes and cardinals, sustaining ignorance for their wretched followers and nowadays even endorsing the Darwinist creeds of evolution, deep time and atheistic cosmology. In Habakkuk we're reminded that God will overpower even the hills their rotten edifice is built upon and, in the case of all other heathens, their mountains will be thoroughly blasted forever. Hallelujah!

In Habakkuk the importance of putting Jesus first is laid out very well and the consequences of ignoring Him are displayed across the world today, just as He said would happen. Thank you for reminding us of this important book.

        Re: Hello!

Welcome friend. Tell us all about your sons and your husband. You can leave all the discussion is simple minded female cluckery to the ladies section. Here is all about God, your husband, sons and what really matters.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

          Welcome, Be:

Indiana is one of the few states in our nation where one might find True Christian(TM) families. As you know, you were lucky to live under Mike Pence's reign as king of Indiana. I am told that one should beware of the NW Indiana area since it is fraught with liberals and a fair number of the lesser races.

So, how tall is your husband? Is he versed in marksmanship? Ask him how many firearms he owns, please, and then go fix him a pie. Do you help him polish his weapon when it becomes in need?

When are your sons going to marry? I hope you aren't teaching them about unnecessary things like feelings or flowers. Leave the raising of young men to a man - that's my philosophy. Have you horses?

Please refrain from using this forum during your monthly time.

          In True Christian(TM) love,
          BrotherLarry
          Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
          Amen and Amen
