    Hello Friends.

    Hello, fellow Christians.

My full name is Jonathan Peter Branigan, but you may call me Jon.
I am 64 and am happily married to a wonderful woman. We are both very strong followers of Christ.
When it comes to the Bible and Jesus Christ, I don't even know where to begin. He has impacted my life for the better. I'm happier, I make better decisions, and I meet great fellow pastors and christians every day. That's why I joined these forums. I hope to talk about Christ and make new friends along the way.
As for the church I attend, I unfortunately recently left my church, as it has become increasingly clear to me it is taking a turn for the worst. We used to be one of the greatest Christian communities until they started excepting homosexuals and transgenders in, and that's when I decided I should leave. I couldn't bear the thought of being in the same building as one. Fortunately, my real Christian friends and I are still in touch and discuss God and the Bible every day. See you around, friends.

    Re: Hello Friends.

Hello, Brannigan, and welcome to God's favorite forum. I'm wondering, are you going to tell us your favorite Bible verse or are you going to keep us all in suspense a little longer?

Also, why do you call yourself a high priest?

    First Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

      Hello, Alan!

I forgot to mention that yes, I am a priest. Many of my firends consider my teachings some of the best and evn call me "High priest". Looking back it wasn't so humble of me to call myself such, but I hope you can forgive me.

My favorite verse has to be John 8:10.
"Jesus straightened up and asked her, 'Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?'"

I'm wondering why you never began by praising Jesus, even in your second post. You had two opportunities. Maybe you're called a "high" priest because you're on marijuana. The signs are obvious. You can't even spell correctly.
Only 2 in all of history have died for freedom all over the world... Jesus Christ and the American soldier.

Welcome Peter. I am glad you are gushing for Jesus but I am concerned for your soul and the praising/worshiping of the false Gods you catlicks like.
I've always wondered why you people covet Mary. Is it all the altar boys bore you?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Who are your real Christians friends, if I might be nosy? Our friends may be your friends as Jesus moves through us all. I am just checking they aren't those phoney fair-weather Christians who stop by one a year to say hi.

Mr. Branigan, I think foremost you should relinquish your claim as a High Priest. You can't just leave a church, no matter how depraved it was, and go off to start your own cult. You must come to your Christian betters here, who have been steeped in God's Word for years, brewing them with wisdom and guidance, that should you seek, you may be rewarded!
