Hmmm... don't remember seeing anything in the Bible about Jesus telling people to cut themselves, but I do remember this:

Matthew 7:21 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."

Help me out? Point out the verses that support your claim. Thanks.

I think that you are wrong for saying that unless i change my life i am going to end up in hell. The BIBLE says that i just need to believe in Christ:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

So i have to admit my sins (Which there are a lot of) and i will be saved. I dont need to stop being emo or anything.

I never said that god had something telling us to cut. You just twisted my post to mean something different that what it did. Can you give me evidence in the bible that people who cut or are depressed are going to hell?

Not quite. While one does need to believe in Christ, one also needs to love Christ. After all, you don't believe He opens Heaven up to those who don't love Him, do you? And what does love look like to Christ?

Again, not really. You do need to admit your sins, but then you have to repent and sin no more. This is not difficult for those who have accepted Christ into their hearts and have become Born Again.

I am already impressed with your creativity - the selection of your user name is proof that you are likely remarkable with song lyrics as well. That is a gift from GOD, and you should be thankful (Ephesians 5:20).


Friend, I have laid hands on and ministered to several EMO fellows. I enjoy the warmth that emanates from their skin when Jesus enters them as they are down on their knees repenting of their godless ways. Yes, I have experienced the joyful climax - when the love that I am showing them finds its purchase - that lightens their young countenances as they cry out to GOD.


You, too, can know this feeling. Say, why not come to godless NYC and let me lay hands on you? We can talk about gnathology and cutting and then in the morning I'll make waffles.

Jesus understood. Jesus knew why he was cutting. It was not depression. It was demons. The confirmation of His diagnosis is that when the demons were removed the cutting stopped. The man did not continue obsessing over graves and wailing but with the cutting demon in abeyance. All the unclean behaviours ceased.

6 When he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him,
7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.

What happened after the demons were removed? There were multiple witnesses, so there can be no doubt that after those devils were cast out.—.not depression but DEVILS.—.the man ceased to exhibit EMO tendencies. The man himself bore witness to the fact and the marvels worked by Jesus in his life.

15 And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid..

Satanic behaviours like cutting and wailing and obsessing over cemeteries are often announced by EMO's so we're well aware of what they are. Where the Christian diverges from the EMO is in the cause. Demon possession is confirmed in every case. We are also aware of the lounge music and grindcore you all seem to follow along with similar genres glorifying evil and any Christian can see the satanic origin of this stuff.
