My previous occupation was that of an artist, specifically that of a pornographer. The subject matter was continually graphic, sinful, and I bashfully admit that I took pride in at least the skill I had developed over the years of doing so.

I'm now looking for redemption. I've taken up craft work and volunteering at my local church, painting pieces and, last Christmas season, designing nativity scenes for both my neighbor's lawns and the sanctuary of my church. I wonder what ever may be enough to compensate of the sins of my youth, as I've taken an interest in sharing the word of God. I fear I'll feel guilty forever.

ANYONE can be saved praise Jesus! God loves all who repent praise GOD and Jesus and baby Jesus amen! However, it would be in bad form to sit next to me at service, considering you were once a heathen. We do allow your kind into church but it is not without limits. There would be doubts, of course, of whether your hands were clean of the masturbation, since leaving the life of a pornographer. I would love you to join the word of GOD, but not necessarily too close to my family. You are welcome to my church First Baptist Hope, but do leave all remnants of the gay at home. The conversion therapy classes ended in 2004 when our good reverend deemed the gay incurable and out of HIS SCOPE, sayeth the Lord. It truly is a sin of your own doing. Be saved!

That is true. But can everyone repent? In Thessalonians we read:
II THESSALONIANS 2 .KJV . look up
      13a
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you brethren beloved of the Lord
13b Because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ

The fact that some were chosen means that some have not been chosen. In fact Jesus explained that most people are not chosen and do not attain Salvation. Those wretches never get called, otherwise God would not go out of His way to point out the distinction. Now whether some people who were chosen reject the call when it comes is a question for The Pastors but as regards those who remain unchosen from the beginning of time, which means before they were conceived, God is quite clear here. The sequence is simple. Conception. Birth. Meaningless life. Death. Torture. It's worth noting that there was a finite amount of time before conception but an infinite amount of time after death.
      Revelation 14:11

I like your enthusiasm dear, but I fear your lessons have given you a faith with more holes than LA rappers' bodies. For example, Jesus can save anyone *He wants* but the Holy Bible tells us the LORD is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation (Numbers 14:18). If your grandparents angered the LORD, maybe, just maybe your children will be considered, but there will be no hope for you.

Jesus will not consider bastard children, none of their descendants, even to the tenth generation (Deuteronomy 23:2), hunchbacks, dwarfs, people who need glasses (Leviticus 21:20), or men whose masculinity was taken from them (Deuteronomy 23:1; not to be confused with making yourself a eunuch for Christ; Matthew 19:12).

Finally, Being gay is indeed curable, dear. Jesus promises a restoration of health, physical and spiritual to True Christians™ (James 5:15). We even have a very successful ministry here to help Sodomites transition to a life of respect and normalcy: Twelve steps out of Homosexuality
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Mary, I would love to read more scripture of GOD's hate for dwarfs. One cut me off in traffic the other day and I knew I sensed his evil intentions even before his heinous driving crime.

I always enjoy reading Leviticus and Deuteronomy, usually straight through from Leviticus 1:1 to Deuteronomy 34:12 which includes Numbers for context. When I read this passage out loud it's best to begin from Exodus 40:32 due to people making comments about a recitation beginning with "and" but it was your linked thread I was posting about. It includes this post from an unbeliever:

i have met deformitized/disabled people that are extremely nice
and refering to the first post: it is extremely insensitive to say something like that to someone that is probably made fun of all the time
if i was him i would have been super mad too
Often we hear that the Old Testament was "different" as if it was a different God then or something. But there is a difference that struck me, which I'd like to share. It concerns the priesthood and the congregation.

              THE PRIESTHOOD
              LEVITICUS 21
              .KJV . look up
              16-21
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God. For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous, or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded, or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken. No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
              and so on..

              THE CONGREGATION
              DEUTERONOMY 23
              .KJV . look up
              1-3
He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD. A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD. An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever:
              additional commands and explanations follow..

The congregation and the priesthood were two distinct entities having different rules, such as the quality of food required by priests, how much they could work and quantities of gold required. The Israelites were a pretty fickle bunch, frequently migrating their cultic practices across to orgiastic idol worship resulting in captivity, slavery, captivity, plague, drought, famine and sodomy. In order to maintain their status, many deaths were required and eventually God got sick of them. POOF!! No more priesthood. No more Temple. No more chosen people. Jesus explained it this way:

              TERMINATION OF THE PRIESTHOOD
              DEUTERONOMY 23
.KJV . look up .. whole chapter
              42-45
Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.

The interesting thing is how God describes His Chosen People and particularly how He distinguishes which are priests and which are congregation. For both categories of prohibited persons to apply to Christians we would all need to be The Congregation of The LORD and all need to be The Priesthood too. Is this the case?

              YES, IT IS
              THE BIBLE
              .KJV
              Deuteronomy 14:2
For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.

Titus 2:14 [Jesus Christ] gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

I Peter 2:9 [Christians] are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.

The continuity is complete. The need for an old priesthood has lapsed. Not the need for sacrifice, that remains current and Jesus is that Sacrifice. Otherwise what is the point of His death? If God did not still require sacrifice, what's the point of referring Him to Jesus when we come before Him? Thus we as Christians become the current priesthood and just as God still requires blood (we bring the Blood of Jesus which, being human blood, is longer acting than animal blood) so the requirements for priests still apply. We are also the congregation. Both requirements apply to us. This does not need any instruction or bizarre exegesis, it's set out very simply and plainly in The Bible by God so that we will know. Even the words are the same as I've shown with the highlighted sections so there can be no doubt.

When the disbelievers get going about "deformities are born that way" or "how can God punish them while they are being concieved?" Psalm 51:5 and "deformitized people that are extremely nice" we understand that they have not read The Bible and how right God is to arrange torture for them unless they love Him. I hope the few passages I've quoted help them to understand that. If God were wrong about this we would not praise Him. But we do praise Him, for His tender mercies and for His Perfect Love.

              Hallelujah!!
