This is a really good question. But you for the reason you think, young man.

It just shows how poor the level of education the young people of this country have stooped to. You OBVIOUSLY were not home schooled by a qualified True Christian educator.

God knows everything and therefor must have perfect recall.

Psalm 147:5 Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite.

And He knows everything that will happen.

Isaiah 46:10 - Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times that are not done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.

Means that God knew how long days WOULD be and was good enough to use His foreknowledge to the benefit of Mankind by using a context specific unit of measurement that He knew Mankind would understand BUT HAD NOT YET BEEN INVENTED!!

That I s how powerful God is.
