I meant to put "La Locura" as my username, but did not pay attention to my autocorrect... So, I'm now "Last Locura" apparently. Lol

Anyhoo, this seems like an interesting place.

    Hello Last,

Welcome to this forum. The people on this forum deem it appropriate for new visitors to tell us when (and where and why) they found Jesus, what your favourite Bible verse is and which church they visit. Would you care to share that information here?

    Kind regards,

    Roland
Jeremiah 6:21 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.

Best wishes for the people in Ukraine.

My love for my REDEEMER is Up UP UP!

Why, just this morning during our special time together, Jesus and I had a wonderful talk in the way only spiritual lovers can! I love Him so much and I just am so happy to talk all about what He's done for me! But I want to know what He's done for you, too! Tell us all about your walk with Him!
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

I looked up "La Locura" and I all got were a lot of God-forsaken Spanish sites. Are you a Hispaniard? Oh, those terrible smelling people...they come into our town the first of the month and buy up everything at the Git N Go.

Not Hispanic. Name comes from the chorus of a song that a friend of mine wrote. "La Locura" means "the Madness" (at least according to him, but I don't speak Spanish myself, so it could actually mean something like "dog foot" and he's just messing with me... I still think it sounds cool, though)

And what do you have against hispanics? This place is filling up with racists lately.

Look at the example of Brother Larry here, trying to communicate in a lesser language. I have nothing but respect for him.

I don't have anything against anyone, just clearing up some confusion around my choice of username.

Plus, my friend plays those language jokes on me all the time, pretending to teach me a phase or two in Spanish that I think is innocent, when it's actually something either gross or simply inappropriate in the moment. Lol. He's a good guy, though.

                  Dear Locusta,

It is obvious that you are in a desperate need of Jesus's Touch. He must have whispered you to join His Favorite Forum. As for your friend, his spiritual state determines if he, indeed, is a "good guy". You see, only those who believe in Jesus/God in an appropriate manner do good things, all others are incapable of being "good guys".

                  Psalms 53:1
(To the chief Musician upon Mahalath, Maschil, A Psalm of David.) The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

As you can see, the content of an action does not determine its goodness. It is the person doing the action that determines if it is good or evil. As you can also see, there is a lot you need to learn to gain a place in Heaven!

                  Yours in Christ,

I hope he does not teach you to say words like ‘rimming’

I have had to take issue with my clean limbed, glabrous young Nephew for using words I did not understand. To speak clearly is to speak as Jesus.

                      Re: 'Sup

Why in Jesus' Worthy Name did you title this post " 'Sup"? Is it really that much trouble to type out the words, "What is up?"

Furthermore, is that how you commonly introduce yourself to strangers? "What's up" or, in your vernacular, " 'Sup" is something you say to the guys sitting next to you on a steel girder as you are suspended over a construction site.

It is a little known fact that this form of greeting, i.e. asking what is up rather than inquiring as to how someone is or how things are going in someone's life, came about as a humorous interaction between gentlemen who worked on the construction of skyscrapers.

By asking "what is up?" instead of "how is the project proceeding?" or "what did your wife pack you for lunch in your metal lunch box?", hard hat wearing co-employees were acknowledging the fact that they were not merely dining "al fresco", but were, in fact, partaking of their midday repast some 1000 feet or so in the air.

So, if by some chance you encounter one of our church members on a metal girder, suspended by an enormous construction crane, then and only then, will you be welcome to use such parlance as "What's up?" in place of a more formal greeting. The inane and lazy term, " 'Sup?" is never acceptable.

I’m reliably informed that the vulgate ‘sup’ is a description of a lesbiopathic tendency afflicting lady lesbions as they go about their violent regime of forced oral sodomy of the female’s lower Venusian Crenellation

                          Hello Miss or Mr Locura!

The female noun you have chosen as your nickname indicates that you are a female, but your self-admitted ignorance on the subject makes me doubt that the choice was conscious.

Anyhoo, this seems like an interesting place.

                          It certainly is.

You know, this is what dictionaries are for. And here is the really great news - they even have them online these days! You can type any unknown word in your browser et voilà*! The translation comes up right in front.
