    My Actual Proper Introduction

Hello! It's been quite a long time since I visited this forum and decided to clean up my act. I also would like to tell you more things I left out of my original post. I found Jesus the same way my parents did, as I was Christian when I was born. I have went to Church when I was very young, and I went to a religious elementary school for grades 1-5. My favorite passage of the bible is: Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

This passage of the bible really stuck to me, as it is in fact true no matter what. I don't go to church anymore, as I personally believe faith in Christianity and Jesus Christ being our lord and savior is the way to salvation.

    Thank you for you time.

Third time's the charm, eh Tom? Anyway, welcome back! Tell us, have you finally seen the error in your gaming obsessions? Do you now spend your time praising Jesus and rebuking sinners like the Holy Bible instructs?
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

You don't go to church anymore?

That's so sad. Where do you live? Perhaps I could meet up with you and take you to a nice one?

        Thank you for you time.
Interesting. So you think you can just 'wing it' with your Salvation and God will wisk you off to Heaven even though You do not give Him the time of day? I suggest you carry that methodology through your entire life. Stop bathing, God will Cleanse you. Stop Eating, God will fill your gut with bacon. Stop Defecating, God will remove the feces from your bowels.
While you are testing out your scheme (give it a year or so to be fair) I will continue to go to Church and tithe to His Perfection, praying He does not disfigure me or induce torture.
God has been guaranteeing True Salvation(tm) for over 2000 years. How long can you hold out?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

..and decided to clean up my act.
          That's great!
I also would like to tell you more things I left out of my original post. I found Jesus the same way my parents did, as I was Christian when I was born.
I noticed in your earlier post that you're a "mild Christian" and that "Jesus is like a guide for everyone," and am wondering how He is able to guide anyone if they haven't heard of Him?
          . .
Perhaps that's what you mean by "mild" Christianity? But if communion with God is excluded, how can it be Christianity at all?
Hebrews 10:24-29 Let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Towards the end of that passage is a highlighted section. Many people claim that God's Law was concluded when Jesus died. That upon His resurrection, accountability under The Law was expunged. Having accepted Jesus but later on taken up satanism, bank robbery, trampling the ashes of incinerated Bibles and/or cannibalism (there are other vices I could describe but you get the idea) such a wretch would not be unaccountable at all. God is explicit here. Such blasphemies deny The Holy Spirit and are unforgivable.

You mentioned that you were a Christian when you were born. How did you understand the requirements in Hebrews at that early age? How did you know about blasphemy against The Holy Spirit and how to avoid it? If you had committed that blasphemy before you were born Salvation would be forever denied to you. How did you determine that you were in fact Saved?

Please refrain from using that illegible translation of His word.

            Here is the correct passage:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
