My Introduction

I apologize for not reading all the rules first. I am here for some help with a very personal problem that I have and I posted about it in another thread and I apologize.



Brother Gonzalez instructed me to post a proper introduction here and I am obeying his request. Thank you Brother G.



Hello everybody I'm obviously new to your forum.



I currently have to work on Sundays and am unable to attend church, but I am a life long member of First Baptist.



I have so many favorite verses that it is difficult for me to pick just one, but I think that Luke 6:37 is appropriate for today



"Judge Not and he shall not be judged forgive and ye shall be forgiven."


I never judge anyone and I always forgive everyone. I am basically a very nice person.


I found the Lord as a younger person at First Baptist and have followed Him every since. I constantly confess my sins to Him and humbly submit myself to the mature leaders of this forum. I am here to learn from you.

So, if you don't judge, how would you separate a good apple froma rotten one? That is a judgement.


God tell us to judge properly. For example, if a see a white tall man going to the cockpit of the airplane I am in, I relax, put on my headphones and listen to the audio KJV Bible I always carry, and ask for tomato juice with a little bit of pepper and salt.


If I see a man with a towel in his head, I do other stuff.


That is proper judgement, don't you think?

I'm sorry your home church has failed you so pathetically. By the way, the Bible verse to which you refer accurately reads like this:

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned:
forgive, and ye shall be forgiven
Luke 6:37

Tell us, have you found a wife to provide the LORD with new souls to worship Him? If so, are they sufficiently home educated? That's the most important thing, you know.

I don't think the church failed me. I think I am a failure as I have to work 2 jobs and must work long hours, 7 days a week and have to work when my church is holding services.



I also have secret sins that are holding me back as well.

I agree with you about the being a failure thing. But look on the bright side! At least God has blessed you with a certain low level of self-awareness.

So, to sum up, all you need to do is to get a proper job with normal hours, attend church regularly and find a decent, upstanding Christian woman whose father is prepared to let her marry you. In the meantime, just control yourself. Jesus will help! 1 Corinthians 10:13

I do suffer from low self esteem and yes I do have an inferiority complex. But I was hoping for encouragement and something to help me with my faith as I am a true Christian and a real life long Baptist.

I am not a homosexual and I do not accept that and I certainly would never have such terrible thoughts.



I am a healthy heterosexual male.

I was reading another posting here in the forum where a lady was calling for the death penalty as a punishment for masturbation. I think that is totally absurd and she is taking the scriptures not only out of context, but not applying any New Testament teachings to it at all.



I confess that I am a "masturbator" as you call it, but I believe God forgives me. I recognize it as a sin and I do my best not to commit it but from time to time I still do it.



My understanding is that we are under a New Covenant, a New Testament, a new and better Covenant so that we can now receive forgiveness of sins and I do not believe masturbation qualifies as a capitol offense.
