Re: Introduction
Miss Kat, I just discovered your friend request, but am wary about accepting it as I believe any private messages between us could give the appearance of impropriety. As rarely as I see you've been active within this fine and Godly community (but for a few who've hacked their way in), I must conclude that your friend request is tied to your comment about an "older gentleman", which means you must see me as such. I'd have you know that I am not as old as you may aspire to find, at barely sixty years of age. Still, even as young as I am, now that my career is on track with Jesus calling the shots, I think I might finally be at an age where settling down and raising a family is beginning to have some appeal.Originally posted by Allykat View PostI have hoped to move from under my father's house right into my husband's house though, so I would always be under a Head... And unfortunately I am an old maid, so I am looking for a older gentleman. I do have a few child bearing years left though.
It's unclear from anything you've posted just how old you are, but you did say you're still young enough - albeit not likely for much longer - to be fruitful, should you find the right "older gentleman" with whom you feel comfortable and to whom you are ready to devote your life in Jesus' name. With that in mind, I would be willing to at least open this channel of communication with you and - should we find some common ground before your procreation ability has been completely squandered - I would be willing to come to SoCal to meet in person with your father, then with you, should he approve of the arrangement I will have drawn up ahead of time.
I will approve your friend request, with reservations, and will stress that any so-called "private messages" I receive from you may be subject to scrutiny by the leadership of Landover Baptist Church, should any communication from you seem out of step with what is reasonably expected from a Christian lady such as yourself. I also won't hesitate to share your communications with your father, should they be in any way even seemingly off-color. You will conduct yourself as the Christian and virginal lady you are at all times and in every communication we exchange.

Re: Introduction
It's good to see you posting again, young Miss Kat. I've seen you viewing threads, but you've only posted on this one. I do hope you realize that even unsaved trash such as yourself is allowed to post on any thread.
Yours in Christ,
Dennis Lukes

Hi Dollimoans, I am sorry for the long delayed response. Thank you for the welcome. Oh okay, thank you for the tip!

Welcome Ally! I won't beat around the bush, that is a rather tarty shade of lipstick you are wearing in your photo.
Just what sort of men are you expecting to draw neigh with that?
A True Christian beauty never needs any make-up enhancement. If you must, I recommend a light concealer to take any distracting shine off your nose. Ask me if you need any further help, I'm quite an expert in these personal aesthetic matters. -Dolli

Re: Introduction
Thank you for the welcome Mr. Dennis Lukes. Oh thanks for the correction. I have seen that verse before just recently. I still have lots of Bible reading and learning to do. Yes, I must get married and pregnant as soon as possible.
Thank you for the welcome and the prayers Mr. James Hutchins!

Re: Introduction
Welcome young lady. You are not the typical harlot we get here, what with a disrespectful airing of personal tidbits.
I'll pray that a man settles for you and that you please him with sons.
I'll let you ladies get back to your cackling and talk of sewing, cooking and menstruation.

Re: Introduction
Hello and welcome. For your spiritual betterment, I feel the need to point out that you cannot actually be Saved at the moment. Women can only be Saved by accepting Jesus AND providing Him with soldiers. You need to become a True Christian and then get married and give birth to children (1 Timothy 2:15). This is the only way for you to get into Heaven. I will pray that this is the course you will take.Originally posted by Allykat View PostI am single and hope to be married to a true Christian man soon. I was saved when I was around 7

Yes. I see. That is reassuring. Thank you for replying and for polite posts. It's so important in these days of increased coarseness, the last days of all.Originally posted by Allykat View PostHello Mitza, thank you for the welcome! I should not have said future husband. I am single, never been married, and I don't have a boyfriend. I meant to say, maybe the man I marry one day will be a Baptist man who would lead me to a good church. But yes, the most likely place I would meet a good Christian man is in a Baptist church.

Isn't non-denominational a nomination? Oh, the irony.

At my church there are scads of young heterosexual men who are in desperate need of a female touch in their lives. Truly only a good Christian woman could satisfy their longing. Perhaps the good sister needs to move to New York City with her father‘s permission.
Then again. There are several other cities in the United States where a good man can be found. The ratio of heathens to normal is high in New York as you know so it may not be the best place to look.
Hello BrotherLarry, thank you for your prayers. I think I may have found a good KJV traditional Baptist church near me. I plan to go to a service this Wednesday night, God willing.
Yeah, I don't know if New York City would be any better than where I am at. I am in crazy SoCal, so I do want to move, with my father's permission of course. But I am sure your church would be a wonderful church to be a part of. I have hoped to move from under my father's house right into my husband's house though, so I would always be under a Head... And unfortunately I am an old maid, so I am looking for a older gentleman. I do have a few child bearing years left though.

Where did you meet him? If you're not already attending a Baptist Church it can't be there and although a Christian who believed in Jesus may theoretically exist somewhere else (such as in Saudi Arabia where Baptist Churches are difficult to find) clearly you met him somewhere else. I hope it wasn't at a fairground creep-a-thon such as The Rotor!
I'm sure that as unbelievers many here have ridden the things and will recall the antics of idiots turning themselves upside down or trying to climb out the top (which seems very difficult but could score bonus points if you were looking for a husband) and at least she's not wearing a dress. In this example they just hang there. Very disappointing (as her face shows rather plainly) but I'm not suggesting you met your future husband in a rotor. Perhaps you could clarify.
A provisional welcome to the forum.
