Please let me introduce myself, I need truth, not health and wealth!

"Tell us what church you go to"

    - What church? Are you fooling me? Friends, I live in the Czech Republic, that small country right to German's Texas (Bavaria, where the sinful Oktoberfest occurs every year). More than 80 % of my country are Atheists. I could be the only Christian in my country. Ours isn't even that small comparred to countries like Andorra or Lesotho, but even less Christian (not saying those countries were really Christian, but definitely more than mine, sad but true ). Well, you cannot choose your nationality. And yes, I was raised in maybe the only Protestant Church in Brno, but even they did not care about obedience to Christ. Not sure if this church still exists. Very few people in Bohemia know what a church is.

"and what your favorite Bible verse is"

    - Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

"and how you came to find Jesus."

    - It happened in January 2019, when I worked as a mechanic for a racing team and realized that I was here for a reason. Then I found a Chick Tract and realized it all was true. I bought a Bible - maybe the only one in my country and decided to humbly accept and practice everything.

An extra cautious welcome to you. Would you like to explain why your intro post is similar to the one made by another new user who goes by the name of "BaptistJohn"? I also find it a little odd that you and the previously mentioned user have the same favorite Bible verse.
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
    Deuteronomy 6.5

Hello. Are you perhaps one of those liberals lying about who they are because they are “ashamed to be American”? You speak very good English for one who claims to be from the Chicken Republic.
My name is Maxine Levantine. I am 17 and follow the KJV Bible to a T. If you are wanting to hit on me you can turn away. THIS is reserved for Jesus and my future husband (whoever that may be).

I think you'll find there's some copy/pasta going on from certain chatrooms. Jesu's words never need supplementary paragraphs or explanatory footnotes because He uses words we can understand. Unlike other humans, who are not God, when speaking Jesus always knew what those listening understood by the words He used and in addition before He spoke or even before the listener was born He knew which words He'd need to use to convey the meaning He intended.

This thread is not like that.

          ____________

          1. Sometimes a cross-reference is helpful for people who haven't read The Bible or can't remember what they've read
          2. God had a full command of language before humans invented it or even existed at all (Genesis 1:3)
          3. God is Jesus

I've been wondering, when an entire country walks away from God, like the Chicken Republic, and goes to hell, does it make living in hell worse or better?
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

For humanists who seek to improve conditions for as many as possible there must be a sliding scale. Otherwise nothing could improve at all. So in that case, since hell is the worst possible set of circumstances imaginable, no deterioration of conditions is possible there.

In which case, a humanist could claim, all that can happen in hell is for things to improve. A static condition (no change taking place) would be another possibility but if no change is taking place then nothing can be said to be "happening" according to their model.

IF the worst possible set of circumstances can only change for the better or remain static (if things could deteriorate they would not be the worst possible) and IF the arrival of several millions Czechs is a change THEN their arrival can only make living in hell better.

God does not use humanist logic. Just as well. If He did then conditions in Heaven could never do anything except deteriorate and the Creator of the universe does not become frayed at the edges.
Amos 4:13 For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.
