Young lady, your message concerns me greatly. I see that you're only 15, a confused girl, and yet you're referring to one of our Godly members (someone you've never met) as "daddy". This had better not be some cheap attempt to do a "pick up" on this Godly site. The won't stand for such debauchery and loose morals! He will not tolerate it! I will have you know that is , and we are here to . If you've come to this site with any motives that do not glorify the , then I rebuke you in the Name of the !

I Corinthians 5:11-13:
11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

As for pie, I'm happy that you realize your future role as wife to a Godly husband, when you shall provide for all of his needs, including preparing delicious meals. I am delighted to share with you my pie recipe, directions shall follow later:

• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
• 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 6 to 7 cups thinly sliced peeled tart apples
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• Pastry for double-crust pie (9 inches)
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1 large egg white
• Additional sugar

Sister, for double crust I would go a full 10 inches. Really cram it all in, you won't regret it.

Oh, good heavens, dear Dr. Toole! I hope you don't mind my saying, but one does not "cram it all in" when making a delicious pie. I'm sure it will come as no surprise to you that the ladies of take great pride and care in matters of food preparation. This is not some "slam, bam" exercise!

I Corinthians 14:40 "Let all things be done decently and in order."

And while 10 inches is, obviously, bigger than 9 inches, one wonders if it is better? Or might this be a subtle trap that is being laid by the devil, himself? We mustn't forget the admonition from Almighty about resisting the temptation of over-indulging:

Proverbs 23:2 "And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite."

I do thank you, however, for your sincere concern and suggestion at how to improve my pie.

Why, thank you kindly, dear Sister Maxine! My goodness -- you've made me blush. I take that as a great compliment about my culinary skills. You see, I once taught Home Economics, as part of my Godly ministry to high school girls. And, you're quite right in that I have had many compliments about my baking, with many admirers of my pies. And did I mention my lovely, big cakes?

My husband seems to think 3-4" is big enough, but like most women, for me it's bigger is better! Still, since he is my husband, I take care with my pies and make sure he's happy with them.

The only dating we do on this site is to have a date with destiny. Revelation 22:12 tells us that date is soon to be. I relate to that verse in so many ways that I have adopted it as "my" scripture in times of distress.


Let's get back to praising Jesus and also bear in mind that NO ONE has brought a pie to Landover as often or as freely as Naomi Ruth Lamb, who practically invented the concept of moistness, juiciness, and delectability in every spread.


I was never motivated to taste anyone's pie, surprisingly enough. Just has no appeal for me.

I think I must mention as I am still looking for a potential suitor as well. It is up to my Pa who I marry. The fact this young 15 year old is just throwing herself out there as though she knows what she wants at such a young age is ridiculous. Where are her parents?

Bible Reader, I sense some jealousy. Remember Job 5:2: For wrath killeth the foolish man and envy slayeth the silly one. You may want to look into yourself before judging others.


As for me being a troll, I am very offended that you should think this. Only God can judge. I made a simple mistake and forgot to read the forum rules, which I amended in a reply to my own post.

Also, I'm actually 15. My Pa told me to set my age as 43 in case pedophiles try to contact me.
