Hello everyone my name is job, my church is Hope Baptist Church, my favorite bible verse is Isaiah 26:3 “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” And I came to find Jesus when my friend died, because I lost almost everything but, with Jesus I lost him only temporarily and I know I’ll be reunited in heaven.

It is noted that you have somehow bypassed our cordial request at the top of the Introduction Forum page, which is:
The introduction forum Attention Unsaved Trash: This the ONLY subforum you can start threads in. Here is where you introduce yourself. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus.
We look forward to getting to know you, once you have completed these very important requirements.

. Job is an unusual name, perhaps your parents were hoping for you to grow through ordeal?
How close were you with this friend? For his death to cost you almost everything, it seems like a very close friendship. How has Christ assured you that you'll be reunited?
Yhanks for posting an introduction. Not everyone manages to do that. Isaiah is a great book, the first one I read all the way through. I wrote it out just to be sure I remembered.
In Him.

You people sure have nice choirs:Originally posted by Jobwantsjobs View PostHello everyone my name is job, my church is Hope Baptist Church,
By the way, if anyone asks you to shine their shoes, ignore them, it's just some friendly ribbing. OF COURSE our shoes are already shiny!Disagree? By failing to register and debate me, you prove that liberals are factless frauds who only persuade through intimidation. To prove otherwise, debate me!

Re: Welcome thread,
His owners must of had a great sense of humor. Naming a slack backed, shiftless nigra 'Job'. Sort of like a fat guy called 'slim'.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Re: Welcome thread,
Job,
I have a question....Why would you wait til your friend died to find Jesus? I don't see the logic to that. Why didn't you find Jesus sooner? More importantly, did your friend find Jesus before he died? Anyway, welcome.

I just had to see where that comma went. So far, nowhere - carry on,If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.
