Hello Brothers and Sisters,
I’m not sure where to start. This is new for me and I know I’m not worthy to be in your presence. I’m a sinner seeking salvation in Christ’s glory but struggling terribly on that path. I was raised a catholic and lived that unholy life for years. I was an alter boy, attended church weekly, went to a catholic elementary school, and even went to a catholic high school until the school was closed because the parish priest embezzled the money. I always felt I was being lied to and God’s word was being manipulated. But that wasn’t enough for me to see they weren’t True Christians. I continued believing in their false doctrine. I was trapped in their lies but didn’t know it or how to get out.
About a year an a half ago I went to my priest for urgent help. I had an addiction I couldn’t control. Rather than evoking God’s word the priest told me to see a therapist. He sent me to a Dr. I felt he turned his back on me. He betrayed me and didn’t use God’s rule to help me redeem myself of this heathen behavior. It was then I realized I was worshiping a false God. I had no one to turn to, no place to go.
I locked myself away for nearly a week and prayed continuously to Jesus Christ. I never left my room and barely ate. I longed for Jesus. While I was deep in solitude I had an amazing vision of his glory. I knew then what I needed to do to conquer my addiction and repent for my actions. I also knew I could never return to the Catholic Church. I’ve been drifting trying to find True Christians near me but have been less than successful. All seem to have a agenda rather than being true to God’s word.
Because of the vision I had, I’d have to say my favorite verse is Acts 16:31, “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”
I’m not perfect but trying to follow Christ. I need to be corrected when I deviate or don’t know what I should do. I’m looking for fellowship of other a True Christians to keep me in God’s graces.
Thank you for this opportunity.
Praise God

I must mention to you that I raised your name in prayer at the recent Wednesday Afternoon McGill Street Ladies' Bible Study, Prayer Meeting & Tea Social (held this week at my home, where we enjoyed some of my prize-winning Victoria Sponge -- do feel free to ask for the recipe, if you're so inclined.) I did not divulge particulars of your personal situation, except to stress to the ladies that "a certain young man" needs to have prayers placed before the Throne of Heaven, and that the matter is urgent. Sister Margaret-Rose did become a bit inquisitive, but I stressed that the issue is "between the young man and the
