I have not yet visited Alabama but I have been to Florida which is close by to see my Auntie who lives in Miami. Do you have a lot of Cuban people there?

Thank you.......I think. As far as Cubans in Alabama, short answer is no. Anytime a cuban, mexicant, catholic, etc. comes anywhere near here, they won't live to see the next day. That goes for Haitians and Jamaicans.

Well, Mr. White, I am not sure if there is a specific award for poor spelling, although I do know that if there is one, and if our beloved Moderators feel that it is needed, then it shall be given. Perhaps I am being just a wee bit too fussy; but, as a retired librarian, I tend to notice this sort of thing. Goodness, I can remember when students would bring assignment papers to me for advice, and I would spend much time giving them correction and guidance. And, it is not that I am being unduly persnickety or anything like that -- good Heaven above, never -- but I do like things to be just so. We do have our standards to maintain, here at , and I know that the dear has the same feeling.

I Corinthians 14:40 "Let all things be done decently and in order."

It is my prayer that our friend will repent of his errant behavior, and seek the and , , whilst the time is available.

Why, thank you kindly, dear Mr. White. That's very neighborly and sweet of you to express such things. I may not be online much today, until the late afternoon, as I am busy with my preparations for the weekly Wednesday Afternoon McGill Street Ladies' Prayer Meeting, Bible Study and Tea & Social. We have been having these weekly meetings for many, many years now (as you will see in the attached photo), and we have no intention of stopping this just because of that silly coronavirus that is scaring so many people into staying indoors. I feel that it is our privilege and responsibility to serve the in this manner, and our duties shall not grind to a halt just because of this nonsense that is dominating the news these days.

And, today's gathering shall be held at my home, so I am busy preparing treats for the social part of the meeting. I'm just about to pop the hazelnut Madeleines and almond tuiles into the oven, so I must run for now, but I'll be back later.
