  • Hello

Greetings, my name is Eden. My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 34:9."O fear the LORD, ye his Saints: for there is no want to them that fear him."

I was raised in a Baptist church, and don't particularly remember when I was saved as I was a young child. However, as my parents both passed at the time that I was meant to be married, I have yet to find a husband.
I hope to learn from all of you and I hope to become a better Christian from your teachings

Hi! Glad to see you here!

To be by one's self is not what the God had in mind at all. He said so.

There's a verse which tells us how your plight should be seen.
The God will lay it on your heart whom you should look to to make things right in the here and now.
Proverbs 20:23 Divers weights are an abomination unto the LORD; and a false balance is not good.

              Re: Hello

Voodoo is one of the worst "religions" if whatever they do can be considered anything more than what happens when standards are all gnawed away.

I was particularly impressed, in the original post, that such a lovely Scripture was chosen. Psalms are so encouraging, especially when we remember how savage the pagans and heathens were back then, almost certainly including some voodoo given its proximity.

Welcome to Landover. The next verse is Psalm 34:10
The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

Young lions are surely very enthusiastic and can snaffle just about anything they fancy. A berry perhaps, an eland or an impala. Even elephant and giraffe are not off-the-menu. God reassures us though that not even so vigorous a predator can be guaranteed a meal, yet Christians shall not want any good thing. The truth of those words has never been more evident than now.

Eden. Eden, Eden, Eden, my dear, innocent child, I am so sorry some opportunistic peddler has derailed your introductory thread.

I can't wait to learn all about you!

Say, have you considered uploading a photograph of yourself?
