    My introduction

    Good morning to everybody

My name is Alyssa I'm 18 years old, from a small town near to Detroit, attending to a small baptist church near to my home, I am a devout Christian, giving my soul and every part of me to our LORD, I'm a goth, I am here to go my way to please and worship our lord, I've been a sinner, Our Lord changed my life, and showed me the way I should follow, from that moment I am a new person.

Thank you so much for accepting me, i know here i will find the help i need To continue in the way of our LORD.

    Re: My introduction

Thank you, Alyssa20 for following directions here at Landover Baptist and introducing yourself in this section.

We're glad you attend a Baptist church and are attempting to be a Christian. We can help in your journey. We here at Landover study the Bible more and better than any other church in the world. It has made us recognized around the globe as experts in sin. We recognize sin where other so-called Christians are blind.

Our concern lies in your appearance as goth. No doubt you have tattoos and rings in your nose and other places. Have you read Leviticus 19:28? It says you must not put tattoos for display on your body. Perhaps your small Baptist church near Detroit does not read the Bible and is unaware you cannot be a Christian while displaying a tattoo.

Tell about your progress in leaving behind to goth life and joining us as True Christians™.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Oh, you are most welcome, dear Miss Alyssa. We are very happy that you are with us at ; although, I must say that I have serious concerns about your soul. You see, Dear, just as our Mayor (Brother Hold) has mentioned, the is very clear about feelings regarding tattoos, icky body piercings, and other such things.

Leviticus 19:28 "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the ."

I Corinthians 6:19 "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of , and ye are not your own?"

As you can see from those verses from the , Dear, does not mince holy words. And, for people to defy orders will only put them in a most precarious [dangerous] position.

John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments."

Surely, you do not want want to find yourself with this lot in the next verse, do you, dear Miss Alyssa?

Deuteronomy 32:35 "To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste."

Hello Miss Alyssa and a cautious welcome to our forums.

I wonder if you can answer a question that puzzles me - only very occasionally, obviously, as it's not something one comes across very often. The so-called "goth culture" originated, I think, here in Godless Britain about 40 years ago, before I was born. My eldest child is about the same age as you, so gothism is the sort of thing that perhaps your grandparents might have been "into" (if that is the correct terminology).

So what I want to know is, are you not embarrassed to be dressing like your own grandmother and do you find yourself roundly mocked by your peers?

            With all best wishes, dear,

Goth is an ancient sub-culture, yes, you're right, but the goths that exist today are not similar in their way of dressing or in their thinking to those of 40 years ago, I repeat, I'm sure that my way of Dressing and having some piercings, does not affect my desire to want to be the slave of our lord, I know my place and I know that it is on my knees at the feet of our lord, No matter what things should happen to me.

                Thank you so much

But you don't know the Bible. Others have generously pointed out verses where this "Lord" that you claim to follow commands His people to eschew piercings and tattoos, but you keep speaking for Almighty God by insisting, "He won't mind."

Well, if He doesn't care then why did He have The Holy Spirit guide His scribes to write those rules down in His Holy Word? Where are you getting your information about God? From the back of a box of teabags?

Also, you seem to be fetishizing the idea of being a "slave of Our Lord" but you are not too keen on actually obeying Him. He has a way of dealing with people who claim to be His but who go off and do their own thing.

                  Exodus 32:32-35
Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written. And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book. Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them. And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.
His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.

I suspect that people like this young woman are too busy abusing their bodies to find the time to read the KJV(1611), Sister.

Basically, anyone who disregards Leviticus 19:28 is Hellbound. But on the way there they may provide all of us with some entertainment, as they are also the sort of people who get vaccinated. The combination of the injection of magnetic particles with metal piercings has great potential for those of them foolish enough to walk too close to a chain-link fence.

                      Welcome Alyssa.
I am a bit confused. How do you think you can live the lifestyle of a whore and claim to be a Christian? You cannot have your cake and eat it too.
A Christian is Chaste. A whore and slut dresses in a manner to attract customers to her squishy lady bits. Makeup is a scheme to hide disfigurement from casual observers.
A Christian lady were dresses in a demure floral print that covers the ankles, wrists and neck, leaving only the head, hands and shoe covers feet exposed.
Do not come crying to me when you get raped.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Did you marry your rapist in accordance to The Lord's instructions in Deuteronomy? Did you cry out for help? If the answer to these questions is "No", then the Bible requires that you be stoned to death.

                            So very true.
Many a whore comes to Church on Sunday to pray that good will forgive their perverted acts taking advantage of an unsuspecting man. Then sit in the pew, airing out the stench of depravity.
To be a Christian, you must live as one. Follow the Bible EXACTLY as written. You cannot have rectal sex in the parking lot of the Waffle House and think God does not see you.
To get raped, it takes two people (or more). It is never an 'accident'.
