Happy September 11th! Don't be naughty Don Pardo

I'm Kate. I became deaf at 13 from a trampoline fall, but what was the end to my hearing was the beginning of my ongoing love of Christ.

My favorite verse is 1 Thessalonians 4:16



For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first


These are the sound of which ring forever in my head, for He blocks out all else. Am I crazy? No, I just love Jesus so much! And Jepardy apparently. Watching that show taugh me how to read gooder so I can understand the intricussies of the Holy Bible, which is how I found my favorite verse.

I sing bass at my church. I had no formal training and can't hear what I'm singing but I just close my eyes and let Christ guide what comes from my lips. No complaints yet!

I found this site off a Christian based sub-reddit. It looks really cool so far, and I hope to meet interesting like-minded people. God bless.

Nice verses and you seem to be decent, and I hope that your posting here was approved by a senior male heterosexual member of your (extended) family. You will see that we are eager to help seemingly hopeless sinners gain the keys to Salvation. A first step could be praying the deaf away. Have you tried that? If it didn't work yet, please do not despair. Eventually you'll beat that mustard seed in the game that Jesus Himself initiated.

His words are harsh, but I know he talks that way cus he cares about my spiritual health.

Do you think I will ever make it to your age, with my aural shortcomings? I try not to think on it, because worry kills, but sometimes I wonder I might wander out into traffic and not hear it!

Today is a speicial day by the way. It was the day I lost my hearing.

My daddy took this photo before it happened and was going to call the local news to tell them about it, how I fell off the tramp and got a concussions and lost my hearing, but found Christ.




But he couldnt get ahold of anyone because some terrorists caused 9/11 and I remember being angry because I knew my spiritual awakening would never make the news and I still feel pretty miffed this day that 9/11 had to actually happen on 9/11 and couldn't have been right after.

My daddy said this country had it coming, mostly joos died and profited from it, and God sent the terrorists so we could wake up and show the world how to be great again.
