But, in fact, that is irrelevant. What you are actually doing here is using the fallacious argument of tu quoque ("you also"). It is a kindergarten form of the ad hominem, accusing people of something instead of actually looking into the content of the argument ("You're stupid!" "No! You are!"). Obviously, this is persecution instead of discussion but we thrive in it (Matthew 5:12).
Ad hominem and tu quoque? This means that the veracity of an argument is not determined by the person who makes the claim but the actual content of the claim. Over here, the claims are based on the Bible, so to become plausible, you need to actually examine the content of a True Christian™ argument and not attack on the person making the argument. Examples:
- Penicillin would work equally well or not even it had bot been Alexander Fleming but Adolf Hitler who discovered it.
- My explanations about the Bible are valid (or not) regardless of if I am a hypocrite. (There is the question of Psalms 53:1 but we'll get to that if your posts diverge unto that path).
