Hello, my name is Micah, but I usually go with Mike. I was named after the Biblical prophet. I posted a little bit here a few years back, but it seems my nick is gone so I will start anew with a fresh account. I see many of the same names and faces.
I now live up in the mountains of N. Ga. and attend the Tickanetley Primitive Baptist Church up the road in Ellijay.
My family moved from Germany after WWII. The family name was Bonhoeffer, but my grandfather decided to Americanize it so we could fit in better here in our new country.
Some of my favorite Bible quotes are those listed in my signature. I tend to be biased toward quotes from my namesakes Book.
My church believes that the KJV is the Divinely preserved English interpretation of the Bible. We also believe that God's Word is constant and intolerant of change. He is the same on the last day as He was on the first. He is not subject to the fickleness of man and the manipulation of His Word by the hippie peaceniks and Mary worshipping troglodytes in Rome that try to twist Him to accomodate their ever more twisted modern perversions.
Eph 4:14 - That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
By nature as a real Christian I am also a Republican. I had worried early on when McCain was nominated because his troll like features frightened me a bit. However, I could see the Hand of God at work when Sister Sara was chosen as a running mate over Jew LIEberman who McCain had originally wanted. I knew there was not a chance for those two mules for Sister Sara would put the ticket over the top. I have been impressed with her assets from the beginning and the more I see of her the more I am attracted by her abilities. I figure between the election and inauguration that the Hand of God will come into play and do something... I just feel that in some mysterious way that the Lord will have Sara in charge from day one and that she will lead this country to even greater heights than even George Bush has achieved for us.
So I'll see you around when I get time to post.
and
God Bless us, every one!
