Kon'nichi wa!

I just want to say hello and kon'nichi wa. I am a Japanese guy who really likes anime too much to be considered one of God's favorite Christians, but I am trying to get rid of that little "hobby" of mine. I also visit 4chan and fap which are both probably big major sins. I hope that this site will help me further my walk with the Lord and get to meet some interesting people in the process. I really want to help you guys to see Asia and its people in a better light. Change can only come when people start on themselves and it will spread around. My Bible translation is a bit different (it's a KJV but in Japanese with English passage refferences for accuracy) I can tell you that there is no chance of me being a heretic or a pagan. I do know a lot of people in my country who are Buddhists and Shintoists, I am not one of them. I know that I have to stay away from this if I want to be spiritually safe. I am not even going to go to a friend's funeral because he is being buried in a Buddhist way. Yeah, it's kinda depressing to not be able to see a friend one last time but worth it. I didn't do Pearl Harbor. It was the hell bound Showa emperor who did that to your father. He made everyone worship him as a god and thus did anger the Lord. yes, it was him who did that to you and caused you this grief. Shingami, you sound repentant. There may be hope for you, yet. You need to join the one true faith and accept Jesus into your heart if you want to attain the promise of immortality, and to see the visions of Paradise. This is not an easy task, and your progress may be slow and arduous, but the effort will be worth it. To begin, you need to renounce your sinful ways, and claim Jesus as your Lord. Are you prepared to do that?

I like Japanese people. They can't be Saved™ of course, but my neighbor is a nice old Japanese lady. Mrs. Matsuko. She's 92 or so and came here after WW2 for skin grafts. She's one of the last survivors of Nagasaki.

I'd stop my limo, bring her a bag of rice and talk to her sometimes while she was grubbing in the dirt for something to eat, but she can barely speak English. She has no family anymore....it's sad.

Last summer we were talking and it was raining a little. It rains a lot in Hawaii. Suddenly a bolt of lightning hit the transformer behind her house and it exploded, and the thunder was deafening.

Well, she went down like she was poleaxed and started screaming and thrashing around and clawing through the mud calling names. Who would have thought those small little brains could remember things that far back?

I couldn't get out of the car because it was muddy, but I had my driver call 9-1-1 on his cell phone because I didn't remember if I was charged minutes for 9-1-1 calls. Eventually the paramedics arrived, got the mud out of her mouth and got her breathing again. She came back from the hospital about a week later, but she hasn't been quite right since.

I don't bring her rice anymore. I'm afraid she is infested with demons.

I believe that I already have. You don't know if I have or not all you have to go by is what I have said. I am not pleased that my walk is being hampered by my sins, but that does not mean that I am not saved. It means that I need good influence from here and the help of God to overcome. Can you tell your pastor to please not suggest that I am a white trying to pass off as a Japanese? I didn't post in Japanese because I didn't know if the forum had the ability to display the characters well. here's a test:

The second one is the Chinese characters (kanji) for Christ
The third one is the more common hiragana equivalent.

I have prayed that Jesus would make me one of his own and asked for forgiveness for what I have done and what I will do. I believe that there is nothing I can do that will get me into heaven. I know that the only thing I have is the mercy of God and nothing else. I realize that with the sin in my life it impedes a healthy walk with Jesus, but I hope to fix that. I pray for help and I wait for God to give me the strength while I plod on. I feel that if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be alive today. I wish I had better means of expressing myself on this subject, but this is hard to do. It's not easy to give someone proof of somthing that happens internally. I just want to be not seen as unsaved trash. I know it's a way of saying newbie here, but still it gets under my skin a little. I know I am saved and it's not a good feeling to be told otherwise. That's all.

That's a good start. We just want to know that you have similar beliefs and aren't a 4chan spy, which you probably are. Will Jesus be able to save your soul? I would say yes, since He can do anything, but, only time will tell.
