  • Hello from bonny Scotland!

I'm Kay Dee, I'm 26, female, from bonny scotland. Really liked your site so I've decided to join the forum, with permission from my other half of course Nice to meet a group of True Christians instead of the usual unsaved trash I meet online.

Kay Dee, I'm glad to see you got permission from your husband! Definitely conduct befitting a Christian lady.

Do tell, what manner of Christian church do you attend there in Scotland? And have you a favorite Bible verse?

When did you come to Jesus? And is your husband a Christian?

As long as your husband isn't one of those skirt-wearing drunkards so common in your country, it's good to meet someone who is on the right track!

        Hello there, OnYourKnees!

Our church is called the Church Of Scotland, funnily enough! I never came to Jesus, for he has always been with me, showing me guidance. Yes, he is also a True Christian.

Difficult to choose a favourite Bible verse from such a variety, but here are a few...

        Psalm 1:1
1 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.

        Proverbs 13:22
A good man leaves an inheritance for his children's children, but a sinner's wealth is stored up for the righteous.

        Psalm 1:5
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous

WHOA, WHOA, WHOA! Get thee behind me, sinner! You are not using the TRUE WORD OF GOD, the KJV1611 (Authorized) Bible! NO FALSE CHRISTIANS ALLOWED!

All good choices! (Not that there are bad choices, of course.) However, I see you grabbed the wrong Bible in your haste. We follow the KJV1611 here, as I'm certain you do. I've taken the liberty of correcting your quotes below:

            Psalm 1:1
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

            Proverbs 13:22
A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

            Psalm 1:5
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

You may not understand why we use the KJV1611, not the New Infidel Version. Here's an excellent paper on that very subject for your perusal: http://temcat.com/NIV-KJV.htm

Hello Sister Mary Maria, our heathens cleverly disguise themselves in ordinary clothes as well as skirts over here.

You might be shocked and appalled to learn that these heathens call themselves True Scotsmen if they go commando underneath the skirts that they call kilts.

I almost slipped and crossed myself like the papist I used to be! (Praise Jesus for staying my hand.) I guess it must make it easier for them to defile themselves with each other and with any wandering sheep. Disgusting.

My apologies for lifting the wrong Book in my haste to share the verses from the good book. I shall be more careful so not to corrupt this forum and it's True Christians with the words of False Christians.

Would it be wise to burn all the false Christian materials in my possession and be sure to refer only to the true word of God?

Not only would it be wise, it is highly recommended to burn any book that isn't the King James Bible or any book printed by Landover Publishing.

UnGodly books are also a great heat source on a chilly day, as they burn with the very fires of Hell enclosed within their pages! (So do witches. I see you lurking there, Van Hellspawn. )

It is evil of you to destroy Bibles!
(But only if they're KJV1611's, otherwise, go right ahead!)
God is going to destroy you for despising His infallible word.

Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed:
But he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.

If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: But if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
A foolish woman is clamorous: She is simple, and knoweth nothing.

Bah. There's nothing quite like the taste of bible-roasted marshmallows.
And it isn't as though there would be none left over when I'm done...it seems the damn things are manufactued almost as much as toilet paper.....which reminds me.....I should get some of those bibles with the softer pages too.
