After all, I think he's one of the greatest men that ever lived on this planet. In fact, one of the reasons that i want to became a born again christian is him. Yes President Bush should be held in high esteem and be prayed for. GOD tells President Bush what to do so his not being very bright is just fine.

Do you ride the short bus to school? I've never seen someone mess up quotes as much as you do. Quotes are very simple, click the "Quote" button at the bottom of the post you are quoting. If you are quoting multiple posts click the button next to "Quote" which has a double quote and a + sign and a tooltip that says "Multi-Quote this Message" and on the last post you're quoting click "Quote". Plus, use "Preview Post" to make sure your quotes and other formattings are fine.

    Thank you but I still hope for more;

    I pray to Jesus I could be as;
    Forgiving as Pastor Al
    Patient as Brother Temperance
    Virtuous as Sister Sue Vera
    Meek as Brother Montague
    Manly as Born Again Bob

Ah, but the list goes on.

A sticky theological point for sure. After all our Godly President is Jesus’ anointed. I think it is best to remember you are in fact worship Jesus that Bush is only Jesus’ chosen instrument.

Our Godly President is vastly smarter than demoncrats give him credit for. Just because they can't or don't want to understand his plan, they take it out on him by claiming he's the stupid one. I don't understand all of Pastor Deacon Fred's teachings, but that doesn't make him less brilliant, it makes me more dumb.

    Friend,

Like most heratics you are only half right; all mankind are sinners. But once you accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior and turn your life over to Him then He guides your actions. Therefor, under Christ's guidance, a TRUE Christian(tm) can not sin.

The acid test for if someone is true with Christ is can they sin. I test myself by trying to worship a false idol every morning and I am proud to say I can not do it.

The "metaphor" (if one could really call it that) is that you shouldn't honor any man a title of God.
Are cathylick priests your real father? No.
So why call them such? It is not because they aspire to be your daddy, but because they aspire to hold the title of God.

They simply want to look important, let me show you the context of said verse to explain it further.
Cathylick priests are very similar to the Pharisees really.

    For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders;
But they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
    Matthew 23:4-10

But what about priests or pastors? There are people who, even if they read the Bible, they don't quite understand it or worse, they get the message in the wrong way. Therefore there must be someone out there to explain it to them in a rightful way, and those persons are the pastors or the priests. Aren't they , then, some kind of mediators between God and man?
No, as they can only pass the Word on, and help you understand it.
No true Pastor adds anything unto the word, nor does he change it or remove anything.
So that doesn't make them mediators in any way.
They cannot order God to do anything, nor change anything of the Word as the pope claims he can.

Neither do we pray to any dead or living Pastors, nor saints, we pray to God/Jesus and no other.

No, i don't remember doing such a sin, at least not when i was sober. But once in a while, when i go out with the guys it could happen, you know, to over drink; i might say all kind of funny things then, which i don't quite remember later. I just hope i didn't plasphemed the Holy Ghost during those moments of turpitude.
If you did, then that is no excuse, I'm afraid.
It was your own fault to "over drink", and as such you are responsible for the consequences.

Oh, but i can do works, no problem. Or, even better, i can pay someone else to do them for me, is this ok?
Not if it means breaking God's law, "work" doesn't mean working at a factory!
    It means working for God.
As such, you can never offload the whole burden on someone else.
If you do, you would be lazy and decietful in doing the Lord's work, and clearly not Saved.

Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood.
    Jeremiah 48:10

[Once you truly accept Jesus you can no longer sin:/QUOTE]
    How
    You simply can't.
A Saved person is incapable of sinning, as He abides in Jesus and Jesus in Him.
So sin gets as alien to you as..
Well, the thing that would seem the most alien to you!

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
    1 John 3:3-6

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
    1 John 2:3-4

They aren't in accordance at all.
The cathylick church is an abomination that besmirches Christ's good name.
Let me give you a few examples.

Cathylick priests are called "father", and "pope" means father in latin.
    But what did God say:

And call no man your father upon the earth:
For one is your Father, which is in heaven
    Matthew 23:9

Were there any idols in the church were you "worshipped" as a child?
Such as statues of Mary, saints, Jesus Himself and so on?
    But God said:

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above,
or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
    Exodus 20:4

Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image,
Neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it:
For I am the LORD your God.
    Leviticus 26:1

Also, nowhere does the Holy Bible recognise a pope!

    For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
    1 Timothy 2:5

Well, about what priests told me when i was child, like Jesus is good and he loves people and if we pray to Him, He'll save us and stuff. But i try to improve my knowledge by reading the Bible.
As usual, they only gave you one side of the coin.
Jesus is good to those who know Him, but He doesn't have any mercy for those who don't believe.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
No man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
    John 14:6

They're all doomed to eternal hellfire, and don't trust the antichrist pope, hell is a VERY REAL and VERY NASTY place!
Avoiding it should be your top priority in life, next to worshipping Jesus Christ of course.

Neither will mere words save one from hell, words cannot save.
True faith is shown in your works, if you have no works, your faith is dead.

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
    James 2:20

    Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
But he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
    Matthew 7:21

A catholic Bible. Why, aren't all the Bibles the same?
    No.
Cathylicks have satanic additions known as "apocrypha" in their bibles, such as the book of tobit.
Also, there is only one version of Bible that has not been perverted by modern translators or papist dogs seeking to alter the Word to suit their wordly agenda.

And that version is the King James Version from 1611.

Well, the usual stuff: lies, drinking, impure thoughts, coveting for other's women, fornication...but i prayed to Jesus to forgive my sins, and He will, right?
Btw, is driving without a licence considered a sin? Do i have to pray to forgive that too?
Jesus forgives all sins except one; blaspheming the holy ghost.
Pray you have never commited that sin.

However, the fact that you have comitted sins since "accepting" Jesus, shows that you never truly accepted Him in your heart.
If you had, you couldn't have sinned.
Once you truly accept Jesus you can no longer sin:

Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not:
Whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.
    1 John 3:6-7

But don't worry, we will help you get to know the REAL Jesus here.

Your whole comment was uncalled for, unless you have something useful to say, keep your mouth shut as women should.
