    Hello everyone

Just wanted to say hello and give just a little information about myself. I am still searching for my path in life. And my family are generally going to a rather good church, with a good pastor ( http://www.thefamilychurch.net/ ).

I'm not honestly really sure what to put here. I suppose I do still consider myself an agnostic. While I do hold many christian ideals and beliefs, there are things that have yet to make sense to me. I came here to try and know more about this group. Though, I can't agree with some of the things said, I think it makes interesting debate and an enlightening experience at the very least.

abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

    Re: Hello everyone

Oh. And in case anyone cares, I'm currently a student going for my AA degree in Zoology. Teaching martial arts (been practicing for 4 years, teaching for 1.5). I play a few musical instruments; though am best at flute and trombone. I enjoy playing sports of various types, playing video games, riding a bicycle, swimming.

Hmmm...that's all I can think of at the moment.

Welcome to God's favorite forum. Please tell us about yourself. How old are you? What sorts of sin have you indulged in?

I'm curious about which "Christian ideals and beliefs" you hold, and hich ones you reject. I hope you understand that the Holy Bible is a whole system, not an ala carté menu. You don't get to pick and choose which parts of God's Divine Plan you like, and which ones you don't.

Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Matthew 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
      Who Will Jesus Damn?

You don't ride a unicycle, do you?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Hehe. No. I have tried and failed to ride those things. They're very difficult to balance on those. I prefer regular two-wheeled bicycles. Easier to ride, and I like the speed and exercise one can provide.

            Re: Hello everyone

Well, I've tried to tell a little of myself already. I'm currently 24 years old. And I suppose I have indulged in various sins. Though, compared to many, I lead a fairly clean life. I rarely drink as beer tastes way too bitter for my taste. I do not smoke as I just don't even want to get started with such a bad habit. But I have used vulgar language in the past. I've lied, as most people tend to do whether it be small or big. Hmmm....I suppose sins that an average person may tend to be vulnerable to. I'm currently in the process of reading the bible, actually. And I understand your concern about 'picking and choosing' out of the bible. I guess I just don't take the things written in the bible quite so literally. And at least for the moment, I really believe Christianity to be a part of great good in the world. But I still find it difficult to believe that only one religion is the one and only true religion. That's a common belief in any religion, of course. And I know Christians believe the word of the bible to be the absolute truth. But so does everyone else. I've heard some of the things said talking about the divine word of god being written in the bible. But to me, it seems more a book of stories put together that is a good guide to live one's life by.
