Hello to all..

My name is Vance and I am from a small southern Indiana town where I work and live and, of course, worship our Lord. I belong to the Living Hope Community Church (LHCC) where I work with the youth group and play music in the church band. In general, I am a pretty happy guy.

My favorite bible verse is Luke 12:15 - And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth

Anyway, I am looking to further my outlook on religion and find a deeper understanding of God.

We hope for the day that all those who have been frauded by fake religions (like catholics, mormons and dare I say the scientologists?) finally open their eyes to the Lord and accept him in the way they should.

I only rock for Jesus...he is the inspiration in all things that I do...

When you say we, do you mean your band, or the Living Hope Community Church (or both)?

Is this the mission statement for your church, or just how you see it?

I guess it would be my band and myself more than the church. I have become a little disenchanted with my church here as of late as they have started to cater to the local mexican population that has sprouted up on the edge of town. They are always asking us to donate to help these unfortunate people, most of whom are catholics, and don't even attend our church. While enjoy helping my fellow Christians, I have some resentment for helping non believers.

That's understandable. You're not required by Jesus to remain committed to one single church. Have you been Baptised already? That's the most important part.

Maybe you could tell us a little more about yourself so we can get to know you better. What's your ideal guitar/amp combo? How many years have you 'rocked'? What instrument to you play?

What do you think of the new server? Pretty good?

I have Gibson Epiphone G-400 SG ( a reissue!) and just a Epiphone Studio 15R amplifier for practicing. I've had them for a little while now and I am still trying to advance my guitar playing skills. I've only been rocking for a few short years now but better late than never! I'm not out to get rich playing music, I just do it because it is fun and a great way of praising Christ!

A little more about myself - I am currently single and would love to find a nice Christian woman to settle down with a raise children. That is something I want very much! As for now, I rent a small house where I reside alone.

I really don't know much about the server, but it seems to be working pretty good. Did you have problems with the old one?
