Re: A little lost...
Sorry, witnessing. If you must know. Witnessing is telling others about the forgiveness, love, deliverance, empowering, fruitful life and ministry, etc., that you have found in Jesus.

Interesting about witnessing....
Of course, there are some things we are never meant to witness, and I'm glad we don't tolerate them on our board.

It depends Of course I am here to witness and I will ,but I will not condemn the unsaved. My Lord said to bring all to the flock. It is sad that you feel you need to attack me for what Our Lord has told me to do.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36. I have read many of the posts here and it appears that there is a lot of anger among the members.
You are.I don't know if I am missing something or what.
No.Perhaps the original poster had some negative history with you. Otherwise, why would you respond to his question so negatively. Was there sarcasm that I missed?
Them that sin rebuke before all, that others may also fear. 1 Timothy 5:20. You do agree with 1 Timothy 5:20, don't you?I personally try to meet any question about my Faith, my God or, The one and only Bible with a Faith filled answer in hopes that they will see things clearly and stay on the correct path, the only path. Not meet them with a rude negative comment, pushing them farther from salvation.
Because many sinners visit our forums and flaunt their sin.Could someone please explain why this happens in many posts on this forum.
In Matthew 3:7, Jesus said to the Pharisees and SadduceesWas Jesus himself not confronted by non believers? Did he respond with wisdom, or open with , " Great! another goth fag!".
Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
As a Christian, what do you make of that?
You are misguided, not malicious. We are not offended. Please take no offense in my question!
Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name.... Jeremiah 10:25

I have news Miss Cookie we are witnessing much more than we wish to now and as we all know things will get much worse before the day Jesus returns. We all feel the persucution that we see know as Christians is overwhelming it will not compare near the end. We will all be judged by only 1. Our deeds and acts will not be hidden from his eyes or the lack of those deeds and acts. We all must strive to walk with and in the love of Christ. I witness everyday through my own actions and also with the word.

Re: A little lost...
All can escape through Jesus Christ. He died on the cross for all us sinners. "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2nd Peter 3:9).

What am I missing? Why is he a sinner? Is it wrong to ask a question?Originally posted by Shadow Lur View PostProverbs 2:13
Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us. and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. We have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. We love him, because he first loved us.

I just want to know what he did do warrant being called a fag?
Thank you!

Re: A little lost...
I'll say it again... God loves sinners! Now God certainly does NOT love their sin, but He loves the individual. How could God not love His own creation? How could God not love the object of His redemptive plan? As I mentioned, I've had many people write me letters in anger because I say that "God loves people." They send me all the verses in the Bible where God opened the ground to devour people or killed thousands of people in His anger. Although God certainly did execute judgment in many places throughout history, it does not in any way diminish the fact that God loves all those people who were destroyed. Jesus didn't just die for believers..."And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world" (1st John 2:2). Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. In Luke 9:54-56, we find James and John eager to destroy the wicked with the wrath of God, but Jesus rebukes them instead... "And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village." And I say to you professed Christians who insist that God hates sinners the same thing Jesus said to James and John... "Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of." In case you don't know, it is the spirit of Satan. Jesus came to this world to save sinners; not hate them.

So wittnessing is more like you are giving testimony AS a witness not you are wittnessing something right then in someone else. Is it the same as proselatising?Originally posted by paulr188 View PostSorry, witnessing. If you must know.
