Pastor you do realize calling someone a chink is racist, to me it seems your calling all Japanese or Chinese people racist. But anyway, if your church hates racist people… then why is it on your members list every black person that posts on your forms who doesn’t get banned, gets a title like “Honorary White Person” See this is what confuses me, because everyone that responds to my question says they don’t tolerate racism, but when I look at their posts on this forum they say incredibly racist things.

We believe that Adam was the first human and Eve was created as his 'helpmeet'. Can you follow me so far?

And Noah begat Shem and Ham and Japheth.' That is Shem is the father of the swarthy, and Ham of the blacks, and Japheth of the whites.

Yes you are correct; it does say in the bible that he was cursed with darker skin than his brothers. And that his decedents would be servants to the decedents of his brothers. BUT I am saying God would not want any colored people to be “slaves” to anyone else, there is a difference between slaves, and servants. But again pastor, do you not agree it is wrong to classify races with racist names, or imply all groups of a certain belief or culture think and act the same?

Exodus 21:7: And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.

That is, servants in the Bible are something to be bought and sold, i.e., slaves.

About four hundred attend my services....but I am not at Landover, I am assigned to Landover West in an ongoing effort to convert the natives out here in the Pacific islands.

That’s a very large congregation, next question is why does everyone get so mad/offended with misspellings and bad grammar? I think the message portrayed would be more important than just not answering when there is a misspelling.

People read your posts. Do you want people to think that you're a 12 year old or an epileptic or a juggaloser? I READ YOUR POSTS. Trying to undo grammar or typing errors gives me a headache. I DON'T NEED ANY MORE HEADACHES. I try to write well and I do so as a courtesy to my readers. Why should anyone care what you have to write when it's clear that you don't care what you are writing?

Well thank you everyone for answering my questions, I do believe I fall under the categorization of “limp wristed Christian” that has been said many times through the forums. For my personal beliefs, I would never be accepted at your church, or to be called a Baptist.
1) I would never beat my wife, Although I would discipline my child accordingly as I was disciplined when I was a child with switches, sticks, belts, etc.
2) I don’t believe God today would want us owning slaves, I don’t think a man should be punished just for being born black or any other color, I don’t tolerate racism or slavery at all in anyway.
3) I disagree with many of the members posts such as military chaplains should be done away with, when they save many soldiers seeking God. Chaplains never have weapons, that’s why they have chaplains assistants that defend the chaplain if so ever the need arises. So whoever said in the forums that the only pictures of chaplains he has seen has been them holding weapons and ammo of fallen soldiers and fighting is wrong.
4) I know the holocaust happened for I have friends of family that had tattoos from the Nazis at the camps. They were not “Joos” (by the way isn’t it Jew) they were Christians trying to save the life’s of their Jewish friends, hiding them from the death camps but in the end were found.
And some other beliefs that I won’t post because I will just get some snappy remark or something.

No I am not embarrassed about anything, the things I didn’t post were just some of my own personal beliefs. You really wouldn’t be interested in them, and it would just provoke an argument.

Oh I almost forgot, does your church believe in healing by prayor? For example at my church one of our members had Type B diabetes I believe it was. And after continuous prayer the member was cured, same with other physical ailments, cancer on the neck where it had grown to be extremely visible, as my pastor held his hands over the cancer and prayed the cancer literally disappeared and the member has no signs to this day of ever having cancer. I know a lot of churches today don’t believe in “hands on healing”

Why don't you believe that God today would want us owning slaves? What indication do you have that God has changed His mind since He revealed the Bible?
