    Re: Hello

That is absolutely ridiculous to think that a religion accepts the raping of children.....I know you have more common sense than that.

Apparently, you haven't read the papers.

No, not every priest rapes boys. Some rape girls. Some have consensual sex with boys or girls. And a handful are actually celibate.

However, the Catholic Church has a habit (no pun intended) of shipping their pedophile priests from parish to parish every time they get caught. Hence all the lawsuits . . . enough that some dioceses are FILING FOR BANKRUPTCY.

Tell me, if the Catholic Church did not condone pedophilia, would they hide these priests and move them around? Why would they not deliver them to the police? Why would they not excommunicate them?

    BECAUSE THEY CONDONE THE BEHAVIOR.

    Who's the moron?

Even if EVERY one doesn't do it, enough do that it'll stick with them until the death of the cathylick church.

I've studied religions over half my life, and so far the cathylick religion is the bloodiest of them all.

I've seen you use the 21st century line in numerous threads so far today... We already know that... You should really tell your cathylick priest that it's not the middle ages anymore, and to stop buggering altar boys.

You'll believe in it when you get there, son.

    Dean,

After the third time I had read one of your posts, I told myself I would never read another one due to your incredible stupidity.

I listen to my mother because I have been taught to respect my elders. She isn't leading me into hell, she has raised me so that I can succeed in the 21st century. I'm pretty sure with your beliefs that you would not get very far in the real world, Dean.

Also, I have never heard of a team called the Swallows.

    Friend, the catlicks are paedophiles. Their baseball team is called the "Swallows". And what are you doing listening to your mother? Do you not remember what Jesus said;

Matthew 12:47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
Matthew 12:48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
Matthew 12:49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
Matthew 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

I can also quote where Jesus said he came to pit family member against family member. I think Jesus has guided you to us for a reason. Where is your mom? Does she know that she is guiding her entire family into the lower levels of hell where you and all your siblings will be raped by demons for eternity? Hmmm? Still think she loves you?

    Dean

    - I am a Roman Catholic. I am not here to make fun of you because you are a different religion. I will never discriminate because someone is a different religion. Calling me a cat-lick or any other name you use won't affect me at all because I am not religious in the first place. However, I am politely asking for you to show the same respect I am giving you.
Ah, you misunderstand. We may point out the errors of your ways, and note that you are a Mary-worshipping, ring-kissing, faux-cannibalism-practicing pagan idolator who is going to Hell for violating any number of God's commandments, but we won't insult you.

I'm going to direct you to a nice "secular" link -- since Cathoholics like secular links -- to read. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Critici...atholic_Church It's a nice starting-point for ya.
    - I listen to rock music, watch TV, and do anything else a teenager in the 21st century would do. Please do not tell me I am going to hell for this, for I really don't believe in hell. You can think poorly of me all that you like, but trying to convert me or getting me to repent is a waste of your time; I have nothing to repent for in my mind.
Of course you don't believe in Hell. Your recently-deceased Pope John Paul II said it doesn't exist, and all Popes are supposed to be infallible. Of course, all the previous Popes said it did exist, so who knows.

Ahh, don't take my word on it. Read it yourself: http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/jo...071999_en.html <--- yessir, that's on the Vatican's website.

Section 3, if you need direction:

The images of hell that Sacred Scripture presents to us must be correctly interpreted. They show the complete frustration and emptiness of life without God. Rather than a place, hell indicates the state of those who freely and definitively separate themselves from God, the source of all life and joy. This is how the Catechism of the Catholic Church summarizes the truths of faith on this subject: “To die in mortal sin without repenting and accepting God’s merciful love means remaining separated from him for ever by our own free choice. This state of definitive self-exclusion from communion with God and the blessed is called ‘hell’” (n. 1033).

“Eternal damnation”, therefore, is not attributed to God's initiative because in his merciful love he can only desire the salvation of the beings he created. In reality, it is the creature who closes himself to his love. Damnation consists precisely in definitive separation from God, freely chosen by the human person and confirmed with death that seals his choice for ever. God’s judgement ratifies this state.

    - I play baseball, and I do not think anyone can find anything satanic about that.
Well, I'm sure we could, but there are so many other, far more important things to discuss with you.
    - I don't think it says anywhere in the KJV1611 bible that the LBC is God's favorite church. I am in no way meaning to disrespect its members, but I did not see anything about it in the KJV1611 (I could have missed something, so if someone could find that I would appreciate it).
Yep, you missed something. The KJV1611 was written in what year? And LBC was founded in what year? Oh, yes. 1611 and 1612, respectively. Without deliberately disobeying God's Word, we could hardly mention ourselves in the Bible, now could we?

Anyways, I hope you guys can refrain from flaming me too much.
We don't flame people. We tell the truth about what the Bible says about God, Jesus, and you and me. That's all. If you don't like it, take it up with God.

Catholics are polytheistic pagans who worship Mary (the dead mother of Jesus) as the "queen of heaven" and pray to her, among other things. See the above link.

    Re: Hello

Ok, I knew I was going to get a response like that, but it's ok. First of all, I am not a homosexual, and I call myself a Roman Catholic because I am getting confirmed this year. It's not really because I want to do it, it's more because my mother is forcing me too.

Jesus is Lord: When I said I am not religious, I meant it in the way that I do not go to church every Sunday, pray every day, or read Bible instead of hanging out with friends. I should have clarified that, mea culpa....

I'm somewhat here for the same reason as zigzagdance. I want to learn about another religion; now, I know you like Catholicism is a fake religion, but let's put that aside. You believe that in God's eyes, I am going to hell. Ok, fair enough. I don't agree with that, but I understand why you believe that, seeing as you believe the LBC to be the only legitimate religion in the world today.

John 1:4 (forgive me, I am a little shaky on citing scripture)

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

Is this not a reason for tolerance?
