This is not a grocery store. It is a forum for True Christians to gather and fellowship together. Non-believers are not welcome here, although we do our best to try to show you the Light of Jesus. Can you not see Him even though the words are right there in front of your face?

I don't go to the grocery store and ask everyone if they're a Christian. Usually, I can tell.

If you want to argue about religion you should go to college or move to Berkeley.

It's nice to see you didn't throw insults nor judge in your very first post. I see a bright future for you here.

    this is to ezekiel bathfire:

ah, yes, youve caught me in a hypocrisy. Ill also point out another hypocrisy ive made. I said i am in no way a Christian but I still say that I can take meaningful lessons from it. Contradictory, I know. Im not perfect, sorry. Yes, I do stand by the ignorance comment and yes, I do try not to judge. Im not perfect and I apologize. I do, however, accept your right (and by your I mean anyone's) to believe in your faith no matter how absurd I find it. I find faults in religion and also redeeming qualities. As for this endless bickering between us, I think it is pointless. Im going to stop being so false and stop veiling my "heathen" beliefs and intentions with kindess now.

I have a question for you, ezekiel, and everyone else that is so ready to condemn me for not being Christian. would you really be this way to me in real life? if you met me in the grocery store, would you hate me? From the heart, honest, I really only have understanding and compassion for you if youre willing to take it. And i KNOW that you are taught to love thy "enemy". I know because I was a Christian for nearly all of my life! Gandhi himself said that "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." I feel the same way as him.

Im a person too. With feelings and emotions. I may not look at the world the same way as you, but I think that we can all learn something from one of the world's most influential men, whose tolerance amazed and shocked those he encountered.

    Don't hate me.

and as for "teachings" of agnosticism, yes, it is the religion of "I don't know" and I like that.

and lol at the scientology thing, Ive always like that picture and honestly as much as I detest blind faith in religion, Ill be honest with you, I cannot stand scientology. I still accept that they have their right to believe as they do, but I just plain out dont like that "religion." we should still treat them fairly though

You suffer from Attention Deficit Disorder don’t you? You said you wouldn’t judge but you did judge. This is probably why you are unable to concentrate on Jesus and become a True Christian™.
do unto others, am i right?
Not entirely. I don’t know what you would like done to you and, thank you, I don’t want to know.
I find useful teachings in many religions, including Satanism, Christianity, Buddhism, Yogaism, Judaism, and others like atheism,
So basically you pick and choose things that suit you and reject the word of authority, i.e. God.
    and of course, agnosticism.
    What? Teachings of agniosticism? What’s that? “Er… er…. I don’t know!”?
I haven't found anything redeeming in Scientology as of yet, but I think we all feel the same about Scientology, am I right?
Self-evidently no one likes Scientology – yet it has a unifying force:

oh, hang on, i just found the source oif my avatar!
Dad, did dinosaurs really exist? Sure they did, son. The Bible says so. They didn't call them "dinosaurs" back then, but instead they were known as "leviathans" or "behemoths". But, my science teacher says dinosaurs lived millions of years ago. Is that true? Of course not, son. Then how old are they? Well, let's see. The Bible tells us [from Adam and Eve's family tree] that the Universe is only a few thousand years old. So dinosaurs had to have lived within the past few thousand years. That's simple logic, son. Oh. So that means they were on Noah's Ark? Absolutely! The Bible says two of every animal were brought [by God] to the ark. Dinosaurs were animals. So, using your logic again son, dinosaurs had to be on the ark. Huh. So how come scientists say they're older than that? and died way before Jesus? Well, son, they just make that up. Dinosaur bones don't have labels on them to tell how old they are. In fact, there is no proof whatsoever that the world and its fossil layers are millions of years old. No scientist saw dinosaurs die- Dad! No I'm serious. Scientists only find the bones in the here and now, and because many of them are evolutionists, they try to fit the story of the dinosaurs into their view. That's sad. But I thought scientists were smart? Sure, but they don't know everything. So they have to make stuff up to fit their beliefs. While you and I, we have the facts, straight from the Bible. I don't want to be a scientist! Ha! That's ok, son. It's better to be right, than smart. C'mon, wanna learn how to flip burgers like your Dad? Yeah! larger one here. ref. Answers in Genesis Conservapedia Bible, et al [Update 5/25/07: www.creationmuseum.org . "Prepare To Believe."]

go figure :p but apparently, some people do think that Jesus and dinosaurs were alive at the same time. and that He even rode one possibly? Odd..

but anyway, im going to track practice now, so Ill respond more tonight, I hope I hear more from you guys. Peace.

Oh, my mistake Jenny D, thank you for the time line. (its huge!)

And Captain A. Portway, are you talking about me? I'm sorry you must misunderstand me. I don't mean to troll, just to talk. And if you must know, I am an 18 year old teenager and a senior in high school. Kind of stereotypical, no? The teenager and his rock music and long hair. :p I love sports, I played football for four years and started varsity my junior year, I have run track for two, and im pretty darn good and powerlifted this year until i got hurt. Ive recently taken up boxing and Ill compete in that this upcoming month. Other than sports, I like to discuss imporant things like what we talk about on this message board. Religion, philosophy, science, whatever. I like to hear every side of the story, and judge no one. I dont know, I guess its just a hobby or interest or something. Nearly all of my friends are Christians and they know I am agnostic. We poke fun at each other all the time for laughs. I am a member of FCS and FCA (fellowship of christian studens/athletes) at my school. I know you are thinking this is hypocritical, but I don't detest Christianity, in fact, my grandfather is a pastor and owns a church. I still get useful knowledge from Christianity despite my being agnostic. I take a little bit from all walks of life. I live and let live.

How about you change your tone son. This is a Christian Forum, not some gametard bulletin board where you and your little friends argue about cheat codes. So mind your manners.

We are here to spread the word of God, as revealed in the King James Bible. We are Independent Baptist True Christians™ who want little trolls like you to hear the Good News about the Lord.

So, besides being a Hellbound atheist, you've told us nothing else about yourself. How old are you? Do you have a wife? How does it make you feel to know that Satan has you in his cloven clutches?

Haha, what is this I see? I have my own thread now?

    "what do they know?"

    and look at my tags!

agnositics, closeted anti-christians, how the terrorist win, secret anti-christians, sissy boys, theological wimps, waffling

A bit of name calling, eh? Well, that's ok. Although I'm not really sure what "theological wimps" means, haha.

Should you not be more accurate and say " There is no edit button for you." That it is only your prerogative to make others look like idiots with no means of redress. Come on, be a man for once and admit it.

Ah, much obliged, Nobar King. I understand and agree.

I disagree, Bobby-Joe. The fact that some Americans are Christian does not make every American a Christian. So therefore, insulting America isn't necessarily insulting any religion. Personally, I don't much care either way for what our government and country is today (and this is merely my opinion).

And as for a cheap joke against Christianity, I have no idea what the original intentions of the person that made the picture were. For all I know, he was sincere. (there are some people that believe dinosaurs were alive at the time of man, you know) But true, when I use it as an avatar, yes, it is a joke. But who can't laugh at theirselves? If it offends you too much I'll change it, how about that?

He said America is wrong so by implication he said Christianity is wrong.

Now friend, with that avatar, are you trying to make a cheep joke at the expense of Christianity? That sounds more like the act of an atheist than an agnostic.

I didnt se your comment about my avatar, and I can't find the edit button (help?), so sorry for double posting. But yes, my avatar depicts Jesus riding what looks like a T. Rex.
