    Roo-Sell is here

    I just caint tell ya how happy I am to be accepted onto this sight- Folks what hold true to the ever-loving word of God!

    If it weren't for that fella at the cigar shop I heard talkin about getting kicked off this here site for "interpreting" (trust me, I gave him a right proper Christian thrashing for opening his mouth with that filth. Plus, I appologize. Just cause he's from Alabama don't mean we are all out to courupt the holy word of GOD!) I never woulda found a place where the word is un-touched by man! In the most true and honest way I know how, let me say I welcome and encourage those who accept nothing but the literal meaning of the KJV of the Bible.

    Y'all accept my thanks, and a new friend in the truth.

      No- this fella held some "interpretations" that were completely STUPID, and not supported by scripture.


      I knew he was a fool from the moment I met him- given the lies and half-truths he professed to believe.....

      The word of God is just that. No man, woman, or child has a place in correcting God!

          Now I realize that such aint exactly a difficult point to make, but he needed to be educated: DON"T make stuff up- if the bible doesn't say it, it aint so!

            Welcome! You certainly are enthusiastic! And while we definitely appreciate a little enthusiasm, we appreciate respect and correctness all the more.

            If you are as familiar with the KJV 1611 as you profess to be, you are undoubtedly familiar with Proverbs. One of the sins God hits particularly hard and often in Proverbs is the sin of slothfulness.

            Nowadays, most people use the word lazy instead of slothful. Either word is fine around here for describing someone who can't be bothered to use proper punctuation and grammar.

            You see, God's favorite language is American English. And we all try our best to honor God and the Baby Jesus by using Their favorite language correctly. I did you the enormous favor of marking some of the many errors in your posts.

            You don't need to correct them, but it would be a good idea for you to print out this post and use it as a reference for future posts.

                  When I asked my Pastor about some of the points I've been reading on this site- he got pretty upset with me. He talked down to me right condescendingly about being led astray by misinterpretations. I was asking about the church's position on a topic of a sexual nature, and he got all red faced and let me have what-for. Said to me interpreting the meaning was the work of men called to service by God, not for those who are but spiritual babies in the eyes of the Lord. Now I'm a grown man, and that just didn't sit rite with me- and I let him know. I admit I haven't read every blessed word in the bible. Can someone point me in the right direction? How can you tell if a pastor is truly anointed by God to interpret the bible?

                    Perhaps the long-distance commute from Alabama was part of the problem?
