Well hello everyone.

I guess I should say a little about myself. My family was Catholic when I was born but when I was still a baby my parents accepted Christ as their personal savior and we converted to Christianity. I had been attending a baptist church all my life up until a couple of years ago when the church changed its location. I now attend a much closer non-denominational church and am continuing in my spiritual journey with the Lord. I have read through the bible, but I have not read the KJV 1611. Can someone here please tell me why they feel that this particular version is superior to the other English versions?

I've been poking around the boards a little and am excited to read some of the topics you guys have here.

We follow the Holy KJV1611 Bible as the LITERAL Word of God. He dictated it in English, and it is 100% accurate in all things. All the rest are mistranslations by false Christians. I urge you to flee the false Christian church you currently attend. It will only increase the distance between you and the Lord.

Alright I have a few follow-up questions for you if thats ok.

Is the KJV1611 different in any way from the KJV version?

Since the bible was written in greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic, why is it that you think this particular English translation is different from any other English translation?
i guess a follow-up question to that is (and please, forgive my rudeness): How can you say that every other English translation of the Bible is corrupt? It says nowhere in the Bible that the KJV1611 is the one true Bible. Are you saying that the works of John Wycliff and William Tyndale are misconstrued and that these people were false Christians?

And finally, why is my church corrupt. It is a bible believing church and we believe in salvation by faith through Jesus Christ. What is wrong with that church?

lol, no, its not.

I chose it for personal reasons. A revelator is someone who reveals something to someone. The angel Geabriel is sometimes referred to as the Revelator because in Scripture, he would be the one to reveal certain tidbits of news to people.

Oh yeah, next time Rachel, You could at least say CHRISTian....people have already taken christ out of christmas, let's not start everywhere else now.

Revelator, if your church is following something other than the King James, then it's a false church because it follows a false Bible.

Are you aware that the NIV is virtually identical to the "bible" used by Jehovah Witlesses to disprove the divinity of Jesus? (Not included in the article cited above.)

Honestly, there isnt much difference between the NKJ and the NIV. The proof is right here on this site. I have used several verses from Scripture throughout this website in claims against some of the thigns you believe, and guess what. They are all in KJV. But it gets even better. I was using an internet Bible, you know, one that can change to any version possible. Well I looked up all my stuff in the NIV and then i converted it to the KJV version and you know what happened? The verses meant the same thing! There wasn't some huge contrast, there wasnt this big change. Actually some of it was word for word!

That was an exciting story, I know, but you act as if the NIV is a completely different book! It is the same thing, just worded more in today's language. Each verse in the NIV has the same meaning and is saying the same thing as a verse in the KJV.

I'm going to reject the King James Bible right now, and start reading the much shorter, heavily altered, but "exactly the same" New Infidel perVersion, because you checked a handful of verses against it and thought they meant the same thing! If that's not incontrovertible evidence, I don't know WHAT is!!



Now read the article, instead of telling us lies we've already heard a thousand times and know to be false.

And nobody said anything about the "NKJ". We read the King James, not the corrupt "New King James".

Son, if a Pastor tells you the KJV1611 Bible is the only true Bible, then you should probably accept that. Have you done a verse-by-verse comparison, or just scattershot? I have spent the last 25 years studying the Holy Bible, and I know a false version when I see one.

God commands us to STUDY the Bible, not interpret it. THIS thread might be helpful in understanding why you are so incredibly wrong.

Yes, I can agree with you to some extent that the NIV has left some things out while editing, but nothing of eternal consequences was changed. The same "christ died for your sins and he is the only way to heaven" concept is still there.

So then according to you, we could just reduce the Bible down to a pamphlet, right? Maybe a coloring book?

And what on earth does "method of salvation" mean? We are talking about the LITERAL Word of God here, not some vague marketing concept.

Now I'm going to have to wave the flag of surrender on this topic. You guys have convinced me that the KJV is the best version. But I still don't think that makes all the other almost identical versions demonic. People sometimes have a hard time reader the older verbage of NKJ. Wouldnt you rather have them read the NIV Bible from cover to cover or have them not read the Bible at all?

People sometimes have a hard time reader the older verbage of NKJ. Wouldnt you rather have them read the NIV Bible from cover to cover or have them not read the Bible at all?

Wouldn't you rather have them read the false mary-worshiper's Bible than nothing at all? How about the false mormon version? Exactly where do you draw the line? If you wanted to repair your DVD player, would you look in the manual for your video deck?
