God didn't have to "get here." God is, was, and always shall be forever and ever amen.

If you doubt God's exitance, why are you here? Who is the "lord" that you "love" in your screen name? Have you read through our Church doctrines?

I'm going to move this thread into the "introduction" section where it belongs. Please tell us about yourself, Andy.
    Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

I don't want to sound rude Pastor, but you didn't answer my question. You just danced around it then told me to go to another section of the forum.

      Did I say I doubted God's existence because I don't.

If you say that the world had to be created to get "here" than how did god get "here" to create the world? Are you saying he just appeared here and then created the world? How does that make the creationism theory any better than the evolution theory? Either way things just started appearing here, be it God or the world

Ok, I will talk a little bit about myself, because your being so persistent about it.
I'm a married man, no children. I feel the need to get more in touch with my religion, hence why I am here.

        Happy now?

A building does not create it's self. It needs an architect to design it. God is the Architect who was, who is and who will forever be. We mortals know time. God does not exist in time. He created it.

Your smartalecky attitude shows me that you aren't a Christian, and that you're probably a zit-faced teen God mocker as well.

But okay, I'll bite. What is "your religion?"

When did I say any of that? Don't put words in my mouth, punk.

The answer to your question can be found in the Holy Bible.

Psalms 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
Quite simply, God has no beginning and no end. So, where did God come from? He didn't. He always was.

If you consider that "dancing," then you are obviously incapable of comprehending God's Holy Word. Which is another sign that you are an unbeliever.

Pastor, your showing a great deal of hostility towards me, hence why I am being "smartalecky" towards you. I want to consider myself as a Christian, once again, thats why I am here.
I feel like I need to learn more about Christianity if I want to personally consider myself a Christian.
The reason I am here is because I want to be taught, I have many questions about Christianity and thats why I'm asking them here, yet all I get is hostility from someone who appears to be a/the moderator of the forum.

How was God Created? If he was not created then what happened? How did he get here to create what we call this world? I'm looking for the answer to this question, yet I cannot get it.

There has to have been nothing before there was something. Something in this case being God.
If god always existed does this mean he was in another dimension?

If you want to understand Christianity, you can start off by reading THIS summary of our church doctrines. In addition, there are several sermons worth reading HERE that offer specific lessons on specific Bible issues. Lastly, The Word of God can be had for free if you just visit your local Independent Baptist Church and ask the Pastor for one. Make sure you ask specifically for a KJV1611 Authorized Version Bible.

Also you can read one online at www.biblegateway.com. And for your assisted reading pleasure, Brother V has got a wonderful thread going HERE called "Bible in a Year."

Now then, if you're serious about learning about Christianity, I have given you all the tools you need to get started. That should keep you busy for a month of Sundays, boy. Get on the stick.

Wouldn't beating a child, though I am not a child, be a sin?
I would think a good hearted Christian would love their family, not beat them. This makes no sense.

A KJV1611 authorized version Bible? Are there other versions of the Bible? How can any regular person know which Bible is the Bible to follow? I'm sure that the original Bible was not called the KJV1611 Bible, does this mean its modified from the original Bible?

A KJV1611 authorized version Bible? Are there other versions of the Bible? How can any regular person know which Bible is the Bible to follow? I'm sure that the original Bible was not called the KJV1611 Bible, does this mean its modified from the original Bible?
