So neither of those posts answered the questions I asked. I'm just trying to understand why behavior like this is condoned. And I guess that's really awesome that you memorized an entire Bible, but if you only use it to point out how God tells you to hate and kill and love only a few, then that's just a waste of an argument.

You answered your own question. What is so hard to understand? This is a Christian forum, whose members follow the inerrant Word of God.

And to you, Rev. M. Rodimer, that's the most immature point to make about bashing a baby's head against the ground because it's ugly. A 19 year old and a 17 year old have more sane arguments for abortion that you couldn't even wrap your close- minded head around.

I disagree. Brother Rodimer makes a valid point. What point does life begin in the womb and when does the mother cease having a “choice” to destroy this life. Why does it become immoral for a mother to kill her child soon after it is born but it is morally acceptable to kill this same child before it’s born, especially considering that an unborn child can survive outside the womb as early as the 23rd week of gestation?

I am utterly amazed at these peoples comments. The selfishness and narrow mindedness is incredible. You new people (if you really are people), come her to cast disparaging words about God. The pastors here are doing His work. If a pastor says to cast aside a ugly child, it is because God has, in his Holy workings, instructed the good pastor to do so. I say "anti-choice" because that's what it is. Today people say "pro-choice" or "pro-life" Think of the opposite. we aren't "Anti-life". You can abort a baby if you want, but don't have to. It is a CHOICE.

Well, since killing a pre-born baby is a choice, how about killing one after it's born?

What if you have an ugly child? Should you be able to just bash its head against the pavement until it splits open, then toss it in the garbage?

After all, according to you it's a "choice" to murder infants.

If it's not OK to murder a baby after it's born, then how long before it's born is it OK?

Is it OK a week before the due date?

Two weeks?

How about three months before the due date? The baby can survive with an incubator at that point. Earlier, even. It has a formed nervous system and feels pain.

As has been pointed out innumerable times on this forum, "Love thy neighbor" does not mean "love every wad of unsaved scum you encounter." God commands us to hate (Psalm 139:19-21), so it's clear that He doesn't mean what you say He means.

My neighbors are True Christians(tm). I love them as God commands. I do not love queers (God tells us they are "an abomination") or witches (God says to kill them), to name but a few.

You would be well advised to read the Holy Bible from cover to cover before presuming to waltz uninvited into a Christian forum and lecturing us on what it might say. I had the KJV Bible committed to memory at the age of 5.

Apparently it's quite obvious that this is the most hypocritical Christian forum I have ever seen. To be told by your God to "love thy neighbor" while decreeing "unsaved unwelcome" at the top of this website seems quite ridiculous. How can you "spread the word" as you say you live to do if you're condemning those who think differently? It's pretty ironic that Bobby- Joe states, "Frankly as a Christian I can not stand closed minded people." when he's being close minded about a very valid point that Juddemon raised. It's illegal to beat a woman, and I can't believe that you people can live with yourselves by believing that it's okay to harm anyone because God says so, especially when this woman is pregnant. I'm one of the only supporters of what Juddemon has to say, and one of two or three women who have commented on this thread. I'm a woman, and contrary to your popular belief, I have a soul and a brain. I'm amazed that this group of Christians can be so ridiculously caustic. I've re-read this thread and I'm disgusted with every hateful reply made.
