    An Introduction...

    MY TESTIMONY: BY ROBERT BORDERS
I was 4 years old when my mother was killed. After her death I was then raised by my surviving family. Through them I was taught religion, racial hatred and violence.
By the age of 12, I had survived 8 years of chronic sexual abuse and torture. Some of my earliest memories include hiding the blood stains in my clothes when I was 5 and having a cigarette put out in my mouth. Discipline meant beatings with wire cables, metal rods and even butcher knives.
At 14 I was an I.V. drug user, experienced criminal and I sold drugs to my classmates in school. Selling drugs was something I did for my uncle. I was into satanic music and witchcraft. I became obsessed with death and would often cut myself. At the age of 19 I placed a loaded gun to my head and pulled the trigger. The bullet failed to fire. I was 28 when I stabbed an innocent man. He survived, and I spent 5 years in prison. I was released in 2004. March of 2008 I was arrested for ex-felon in possession of a fire arm and paraphernalia, due to an armed robbery that went bad. I was relieved that my life was over on the outside. I figured with my charges I was looking at life in prison due to my strike and prior convictions. I told God I needed peace. I cried out to Him, “I don’t care about freedom, just give me peace.” 3 days later I was released on ‘Past time to file charges’. I had made a call to Teen Challenge for a phone interview about a week before my arrest.
April 14, 2008 I came to the Shafter, Ca. Induction center and began my journey with Christ. After only a few days I had found the peace I so desperately wanted.
Since then I have come to know Christ on a personal level. He freed me from addiction, sparing me the symptoms of withdrawal I would experience when I tried to get clean before. Now He is freeing me from the pain, rage and shame that used to drive my addiction ever deeper. 10 years ago I planned to become a killer and become famous before the cops killed me. Today, through the love of Christ, I am learning how to love. My hope for the future is to share what Jesus has done for me. I want to share Jesus with others and to spread the Gospel. I am planning to spend the rest of my life sharing and being a part of the work of Christ.
I've been a Christian for over a year now. I am an intern with L.A. Teen Challenge and I work with men coming into induction preparing them for the discipleship part of Teen Challenge. I am still growing in Christ, and grateful for the love and grace He has shown me.
    Robert Borders.

Wow! That's quite the testimony friend!

Jesus has a plan for us all. In some cases (like Job's), the plan is quite...interesting. In most cases it isn't.

Praise Jesus for guiding you here.
    Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

That is an incredibly moving testimony. It brought me to tears. Jesus weeps for you. How did you come up with the name "feyfalen"? It doesn't sound American. Are you from Europe? Possibly from the United Kingdom? What Church do you attend? Are you a boy fey or a girl fey? Have you produced little Soldiers for Jesus?

      Welcome, feyfalen.

      Yours in Christ
      Brother Lazarus
In the Beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth. Genesis 1.1. This scripture is the first verse of the Bible for a reason. It lays the foundation for the absolute truth found in God's Holy WORD, the Bible.

The United Kingdom would be a fair guess, though a better one would be the Caledonian. Fey is a word of Celtic origin. Celtic, derived Keltoi, refers to those of early Irish/Scottish heritage.
As for the fact my name is Robert and I stated that I am working at a 'men's home', I should think my being a boy fey is quite obvious.
As for that, I am grown man of God, a father of 2 children and my use of 'feyfalen' is simply functional as it is unique and easy to remember.
I am an American and proud to be so.

I attend church at the Riverside Christian Life School, headquarters for Teen Challenge International of Southern California.
After God Himself, our director is Dennis Griffith, National Advisor to the President of the United States, appointed by President Ronald Reagan.
