Re: Hello Everyone
Welcome.
Scottish? Hmmm. I hope you've been able to put down your whiskey and haggis long enough to force yourself to part with enough money to buy a King James 1611 Bible and get right with the Lord.
Please tell me you've found Jesus and don't wear skirts or play soccer anymore. Based on your first post, my fears may be for nothing and you could be that rare European who isn't bound for Hell.
Tell me, friend, what's your favorite Bible verse?Posted via Prayer
1 Timothy 2:13-15 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.Bearing my husband's heirs and being SAVED!

Welcome to God's favorite forum!Originally posted by Halloween Jack View PostMy name is Martin. I am 41, Scottish and a married father of one wonderful daughter.
Can you tell us a little more? What's your favorite Bible verse? Where do you go to Church? Did you choose to be Scottish or were you born that way? There are many of your countrymen on this site. Do you persist in wearing a skirt? Will your wife be bearing any little male soldiers for Christ?
Thanks for joining!

'Repent then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.' Acts 3:19
Sorry, but do you have a problem with Scots ?

Not if they've given up their sins, and not if they quote from a real Bible.Originally posted by Halloween Jack View Post'Repent then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.' Acts 3:19

However, you've chosen to quote from a false Bible.
Let's see what the King James has to say in Acts 3:19...
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
Friend, you need a King James Bible and fast! We are in End Times and your very eternal soul depends on this!Posted via Prayer

Re: Hello Everyone
Absolutely not, as long as they refrain from playing "soccer" and wearing dresses.Originally posted by Halloween Jack View Post'Repent then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.' Acts 3:19

It is also helpful for a Scot to refrain from drinking Scotch and instead choose to imbibe a fine Tennessee Whiskey such as Jack Daniels or George Dickel.
There are many True Christians from your country on this board!
Welcome!
